Friends I missed the first 10 minutes due to power failure as usual. I am updating for the portions that I have managed to see.
Suli and yash are having an argument-cum-discussion in their room. Suli tells Yash that due to the recent happenings regarding Shan and Alaka, she is very much worried about her daughters – Sonu who is already in her husband's house and for Akanksha, for whom marriage proposals have started coming. Yash tells her that if Ammaji had agreed to Shan and Alaka's marriage, then it must be the right step and Ammaji must have had some reasons for saying YES. However, Suli is not convinced and says that although she knows that she's a mere puppet in the house with no right to question any of Ammaji's decisions, yet as a Mother she has rights to think about her daughters and be worried about them. Yash again tells her that Ammaji can do no wrong and that they have to abide by her decision.
Alaka is in her room folding her clothes when Meera enters the room. She is clutching a small bouquet of flowers in her hand and she offers it to Alaka as a welcome mark for the revival of happiness and colour in Alaka's life. Alaka is touched by her thoughtfulness although she is having doubts as how to fool Meera as per Ammaji's wishes. Alaka takes Meera's hands in her own and is pained to see the burn marks on her palms. She asks Meera to go to her room and take rest.
In the hall, Alaka meets Ammaji who tells her that in spite of trying harder, they have been unable to find a suitable match for Meera. Hence, Alaka will have to find newer issues to keep her marriage with Shan at bay. Alaka is very unhappy to hear this.
Alaka ahd prepered some ointment for Meera's injured hand and is taking it to Meera's room, when Ira's harsh words cuts through her quietness. Ita tells Raj that the mother-daughter relation between Alaka-Meera is spectacular. Meera understands every emotion of her Mother and announces her intentions (in reality, Meera's demands are actually Alaka's demands). Ira further tells Raj how the marriage proposal had revealed Alaka's true nature and how she had managed to drive a wedge between Gauri and her Father and also between Gauri and ABhi. Alaka overhears everything and says to herself that how can she destroy somebody else's happiness when she herself doesn't know what to say or do. However, she thanks Ira Ira mentally for letting her know about the status of the family members.
Once Alaka has left, Ira tells Raj that she is worried that if Shan and Alaka get married and they have a son, it would mean that Ira's son, Mayank would cease to be an heir to the fortunes of the Bharadwaj family.
Alaka goes to Meera's room and applies the ointment on Meera's wounds. When Meera picks up the topic of her Mother's wedding again, Alaka very stoically says to Meera that the wedding wont take place until and unless Gauri says yes. Meera is zapped and after Alaka leaves, Abhi comes inside Meera's room. He tells her that he has heard everything. Meera is nearly in tears and tells Abhi that the wedding would not take place at all since Gauri would never say Yes, as she hates Meera and is also upset with Alaka. Abhi assures Meera that this time he will help her and convince Gauri to say yes to Shan and Alaka's marriage.
