According to DNA, the family members of Jiah Khan have found a six-page note in which she has penned aspects about a bumpy relationship, some other disappointments and even a medical procedure she underwent that may have likely contributed to her ending her life on Monday.

Jiah's mother and sister were looking through her some of her personal items in her room at their Juhu residence on Friday afternoon, when they discovered the note in English that they believe was written by the actress.

According to sources close to the family, Jiah would write poetry, so they felt that she may have put down her account in writing. It appears from the contents that the note was written recently. "By the time you will be reading this letter, probably by then I won't be there in this world," the note reads.

The family has informed the police about the note and on the request of the officials investigating the case will hand over a notarized copy of it on Saturday. The family chose to retain the original note fearing that it may be misused.

The police will comment on this only after they check the note themselves. "Once we get the letter we will take an expert opinion on whether it was indeed written by Jiah," a police officer said.

The note says: "You have cheated me... I trusted the relation... You didn't care about the relation." But it was not immediately clear whether the actress had named anybody in the note and if she intended to send it to anyone.

Jiah wrote about a party in Goa and also referred to a medical procedure she underwent during the relationship. A source close to the family suggested that she felt cheated and the relationship had made her depressed. "She was not a depressed child," the sources said. "She also said in the letter that she spent a lot of money on the person."

"She was depressed due to the difficult relationship with the person she was in love with.

Perhaps, her first suicide attempt was also due to the relationship and she may have taken the step after the medical procedure she said she underwent," the source said.

The source said that the family was trying to find out from Jiah's friends the hospital where she underwent the medical procedure.
