Gumaan...A weak link?!

This show has a layered narrative and even the characterisations aren't one dimensional except till now I am waiting for Gumaan to make any sort of impact as a vamp. Shockingly her character has come out quite flat till now IMO. All I see is her listening in to other people's conversations and making harmless threats. If there is one thing which has disappointed me about the show so far, it's the main vamp herself. It's not necessary that she only appears when she wants to make up some scheme surely. Make us connect with her, make us actually hate her. I don't hate her and that's not a good thing. Tell us more about her past, maybe some flashbacks so we can somewhat understand her state of mind.

Her bhoot sister seemed more sly to me but she's disappeared unfortunately! A stylish vamp like Gumaan needs to be sly but instead her character is actually turning out to be rather predictable and straight-forward. I need to see more layers, more shades to her rather than her endless monologues!

I'm yet to feel that fear of her doing something substantial. Maybe that's just me...

i personally am not paying much attention to gumaan's character..i think she is doing ok as vamp but all her plans r backfired maybe luck is not on her side as yet, but we all know that separation track is around the corner and that is when we will get to see her real action, as she will succeed in separating the two!

Agree Reemz, nothing new in her character other than being a catalyst till now. Her being in every place to hear things doesn't look so good now, we almost expect her to be there now. Some of her dialogues indicate she is carrying a big grudge against the family for calling her a dancer. As you said wish they showed some story on her to strengthen her grudge and then maybe we can connect to her more.

I too find her repetitive and predictive too, always behind a door, beside a wall or in between two trees 🥱

We know there was something between DB, Guman and LNV, but we need to know why Guman has such a grudge against the Desai's, cos as of now she had won LNV over DB

If the CVs keep the track for later use, fine but at least they could have shown her thinking or self dialogues hinting the issue.

I agree. Actually I think the only time I've ever seen any indication that Guman is more than a black and white character was today's episode when she, for a fleeting moment, looked genuinely happy at hearing the news of Danny's upcoming arrival. Guman has been pretty static till now, but I'm hoping that we'll see more dimension to her character once Danny shows up.
