Yes the food was nothing great in terms of innovation but then for kids and that too poor kids from orphanage it would have been like a special treat😊 I think here taste should be of more importance than innovation. If kids enjoyed the meal then the purpose is complete.
Also going by the challenge she played smartly and time was of the essence.

i dont know somehow i find the lady far over confident , no ffence to her fans, ya may be she is good but repetitive and i guess she has become too big for her shoes where she feels that anything she cooks she'll sail through with it
though her flavours are impeccable and she has some great experience behind her back yet i think any international challenge and she'll perish
and masterchef should be one with innovation and who can cook all kinds of food unlike her who sticks to her quintessial indian dishes now thats cheating too since you are not coming up with something different but playing in the same yard and getting a hundred
she never experiments which a masterchef should be doing like ripu
