okay people there is no such thing as "islamic culture" there is culture and Islam.. What You see on Qubool Hai is not Islam, but culture. All those functions that you saw are not related to Islam, whatsoever. Please do differeniate between ISLAM AND CULTURE. I am Muslim, and never in my life have i seen any of those functions that happened on Qubool Hai. In Islam, the Nikkah and Walima, those are the only functions. But I accepted them because, hey its culture, their way of life, what they have been brought up with. Its who they are, or traditions. And it doesnt go against Islam or anything.
But I, However cannot watch, Islam being potrayed in such a way i.e the mini skirt. That is totally against Islam, and i am sure its not "culture " either. But I also respect that Some Muslims are more cultural than religous. But forgodness sake this muslim family lives in India, I am not so sure mini skirts are "indian culture". Maybe im wrong, and do correct me. But that skirt was beyond trashy. And as for people say what about when Asad is shirtless. Well, in Islam, men only have to cover waist down, but is it NOT encouraged.
