Hi guys

Do anyone feel that there is bit improvement in FIR ?? If yes tell your opinion and If no then why

And how much you would rate the show in the grid of 5.

Just a question arise in my mind thought to ask as some of my friends see much improvement in the show...and they are liking it...

I saw an episode yesterday and it has improved a bit, but I still don't like it. It has nothing to do with the characters. The characters are meshing together well, it's just that the writing is the same as before. I was hoping for some changes given a new team.

I haven't watched FIR since so many days. Watched first 2/3 episodes after leap and was not impressed.

Though I have been super busy, I will try to watch atleast few episodes and comment here.

Boring now! It seems to have improved, but it's only because they are slowly removing some of the changes they made (not actors, but behavior of characters) and trying to recapture the old formula that worked. It might improve, but, without the old cast, I don't think it's ever going to be as good and will only be a poor imitation no matter how much they try to copy the old characters.

Honestly, I'm not impressed with this 20 year leap. Before the change, the characters played by billu, gopi, gulgule, chandra mukhi and inspector pandey are fabulous. They had good timing of punches. Their simple dialogues were also effective in bringing smiles. But with the new characters I'm not finding that bond. First of all I could see that the dialogues are not bringing any comedy.. Earlier when gopi says well.. chandra mukhi stops him by scolding funny way.. Currently when gopi syas well... its not bringing any humor... Billus present role is not at all humorous... ... I'm really missing the older version of FI.R..

No offence to anyone.. This is my personal feeling.

Watching very occasionally.

I think the supporting characters - Naveen, the Baangaali playing guy and so on - are still in top notch form. It's the main cast that causes problems. It's fine when it's just Billu and Gopi playing off each other. And I can handle Jwalamukhi joining them. I can even handle khachar pachar. But when Malpua speaks... ugh... Nothing against the actor but he CANNOT play Gulgule. Kiku is so smart as an actor and this guy just cannot handle this - it's beyond his skills. It just stops working for me. And then I can't watch it any more.

I don't understand why we need to have a Malpua, Carry On and Well and Billu's home family.

My suggestion - Keep it simple with just 3 havaldars - Billu, Gopi and Khachar Pachar. And JC. And the case characters.
