IT outsourcing: Have you been affected?
Call centre
Over 75% of IT services outside the US are sourced from India
Have you been affected by the shift of hi-tech companies to countries like India?

From Bangalore to Boston, globalisation is now a way of life in the information industry.

From telephone call centres, to running back-office systems like payrolls and billing, to developing software for computers, big Western companies are outsourcing their operations overseas.

Do you work for a company where such work has been moved abroad? Have you lost your job? Or has your lifestyle been transformed by working for an IT company in India?

Are you now a global worker who has moved abroad? Or are you returning from work overseas?

I have only one complaint about BPOs...

it has certainly forced them to adjust their lives to US or UK or AUssie timezones...

and that affects their health.. sleep during day and stay awake during nights..like bats.. even on holidays..because it has become a habit
