Hi all,
A new Jhalak viewer here. Here is my review of the first five dances. Feel free to agree or disagree.
Shaan- His moves are way too rigid, choreography was insipid. He was too aware and nervous and it showed. Needs a lot of work.But he seems to have the goodwill of the judges so he may survive for a few weeks. Was given more marks than he deserved.
Suresh Menon- there are many reasons why he is here, but dancing ain't one of them. He is funny and makes you laugh, his awkwardness does crack you up. I'm pretty sure he is here to have a good time not to win the competition. Weakest among all the contestants.
Aarti- Good dance. But the coordination between Aarti and her choreographer was rather poor. A few steps were out of place. One to watch-out for.

Drashti- Her performance wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. She does seem like a graceful dancer, but it was obvious that she was under a lot of pressure, like she was carrying the weight of the expectations of the audience. Loosen those shoulders honey and lose yourself in the moment, you will just do fine.
Lauren- That was one heck of a dance. The choreography was spot on, the props were used well. The energy of the dance was fabulous, she is one to watch out based on the first round.Part 2 will be up tomorrow.
