Punar Vivah - Ek Nayee Umeed is another sequel (Chapter 2) of Punar Vivah - Zindagi Milegi Dobara. Punar Vivah - Ek Nayee Umeed will have a whole new cast and new storyline. It will air from Monday 20th May 2013 at 10:30PM on ZEE TV.
The new story is about a popular TV actor Divya (Rubina), who puts aside her love life in the quest to build a career. Karan will play Raj, a disillusioned young man, who ends up marrying Sarita, played by Srishty, chosen by his family after losing his first love.

Meet Divya
Played by Rubina Dilaik Divya, a popular TV actor, who puts aside her love life in the quest to build a career & became famous in the Television series "Choti Bahu".
Meet Raj
Played by Karan V Grover Raj, a disillusioned young man, who ends up marrying Sarita, chosen by his family after losing his first love.
Meet Sarita
Played by Srishty Rode Sarita is not a typical kind of bahu. She is a very strong-headed woman. She is married to Raj knowing that he loves someone else.

The story begins in the midst of Punar Vivah ZMD ending, Divya helped Yash reunited with his son Aayu while, Divya & Yash met each other for the second time later & Divya narrate her story to Yash saying she is leving her love in Bhopal heading to fullfill her dream just for her siblings, while on the other hand Aarti attend Sarita & Raj's wedding, later she found out that Raj loves someone else & Sarita knows about this yet is marrying Raj, however Raj is confused and can't believe Divya is leaving him.Punar Vivah ZMD breathe it last on screen with Yash & Aarti wondering who will Raj end up with?
Punar Vivah ENU, officially start with the story moving 10 years later, Divya have become a big actor, the world knows her as Choti Bahu due to her show which have now come to an end, Now Divya is returning to Bhopal for her love.While Raj is still to himself leaving the world behind and keep waiting for Divya to return, not knowing how famous she have become. Raj's wife Sarita is one stroy minded bahu & stands up for herself. But she never gotten Raj's love.Divya decided to give Raj a surprise & visit his home. She met his family but eagerly wanted to meet him, but he wasn't home. While leaving the house Divya got the biggest shock of her life when she finds out Raj is married. Kamla, Raj's mom & Sarita are not like typical saas-bahu, Kamla hates Sarita & wish Raj could have marry to girl whom he loves & she would be happy to make her Raj's wife even now. Divya is shocked & sad to found this out & decide not to ever meet Raj. She keeps remember moments with Raj.While Sarita is sad, Raj doesn't loves her & wish to meet the girl who made Raj turn like this.

A distressed Divya, riding her bike in the rainy night gets into an accident. She is lying unconscious on the road and is saved by Raj but he doesn't see her face. Upon gaining consciousness in the hospital she finds Raj's diary with her but doesn't know it is his.Raj's aunt comes to visit and is shocked that Raj and Sarita does not have any kids even after being married for such a long time. Blaming Sarita for this, she tells Kamla to get Raj re-married. Raj comes there and Sarita begs him to tell everyone the truth as to why they don't have any kids as yet. Raj, affronted on her behalf, tells him mother off for interfering and if she wants to get someone re-married then find Sarita a suitable husband. Divya decides to get married to Gaurav.

Sarita cries over her fate. Divya tells Gaurav about her past with Raj and asks him to decide if he wants to proceed with the wedding. Gaurav accepts. Raj sees Divya's engagement announcement in the news papers and is shocked. Divya and Gaurav get engaged. Raj is arrested.

Raj is rescued from jail by none other than Divya and Gaurav. Sarita gets to know that Divya is the girl who Raj is in love with.During Divya's haldi ceremony, Sarita comes there and confronts her. Sarita asks Divya to make Raj fall in love with her (Sarita) before getting married. Raj finds out that Divya is the one who bailed him out and goes to her house.

The story moves on...
