Drashti-Vivian were not stars before Madhubala: Saurabh
It came as a shocker to us when Saurabh Tiwari (Nautank Telefilms) gave a statement on the leads (Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena) of his very own show, Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
What was that? Well let us give a small brief.Saurabh Tiwari's another show Do Dil Ek Jaanwill soon go on air. However the makers have introduced two new faces as the leads in the show. On being asked why opting for new faces for 'Jaan' where in the other hand he has roped in two small screen's big name Drashti and Vivian for Madhubala? The producer instantly responded, "Well, Drashti and Vivain were not stars before Madhubala. They were as equal as a new comer for Madhubala. I think the shows which they did initially were not to that level. All in all I would say Madhubala is their career's big project."
However, Geet and Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani were few famous shows through which Drashti and Vivian claimed fame. "So when we signed them we signed normal actors and not stars. Drashti and Vivian got popular post Madhubala. I would again say that they might be popular earlier but they had internet fan following and not TV audience who would daily switch on the channel to watch them. At the end what audiences watch on TV counts and not the internet traffic," signed off Saurabh.
