Butchering Zoya's core strengths
One wonders if its the same Zoya who clicked a pic of Siddiqui mansion when she tailed Raghu into the mansion. Given her current circumstances and suspicions what stopped Zoya from clicking pics of Tannu's hands and that fake burns make up? She did see the smirk on two occasions and was made to apologize for the first direct confrontation.
For someone who can set up and install security/ alarm system just by reading manuals off the web, what stopped Zoya from looking up the banks website and asking Tannu to login to her account in front of everyone? After all, bank records are available online and Tannu received the latest statements din't she?
While she loves ribbing and confronting Asad on every topic under the sun, what stopped her from asking Asad and the entrepreneur Tannu about insurance claims? Tannu did say her partners are running the business with her brand name, so she must've completed all related formalities. Or even check with any of the partners or the banks or even the local police/ newspaper for proof of such a fire bringing down a factory and a residence!!!
So, Zoya knows Tannu's ex husband is out for a kill. But can't she ponder on what purposes did the damage to saree and switching of the blood sample serve that killer? Why can't she flashback on dhurandar's word of advice about the plotting lady.
Why doesn't Zoya think of confronting the doctor in cahoots with catty at the hospital post the jal gayi in the baagh episode? As also, basically get to the roots of Tannu's aversion to doctors.
Zoya made arrangements for live feed of the sagaai..why can't she simply bug Catty's room?
The Baap of it all...I understand its deemed conventional in romance for the man to declare his love for the lady. But Zoya isn't your quintessential dreamer. Why is she playing mind games with Asad? Why can't she be forthright and ask him, if he loves her or not?
Murdering the sensible, no nonsense, practical ASAD
Does this man ever work? Going by the wealth and standard of living his construction business must be doing roaring business. But you can't make a movie on ,say, Ambani and not show him working. There's more to men than the troubles in their personal life and romantic liaisons. Barring the work call and mention of some meeting, for all purposes, he runs his empire from home, assuming that he find time for it after eternities of eye locking with Zoya, being grabbed by Tannu at every given opportunity and being spanked by mommy.
So, Zoya is witty and has presence of mind to build up on white lies. Doesn't bow down to your diktat. Trust issues aside, why can't the oh so smart Mr Khan question himself what does Zoya stand to gain from interrogating his beloved friend? Why and how would Tannu's husband switch blood samples especially when even Tannu din't know Zoya had taken her blood sample. What did Tannu's ex hope to achieve by doing that?
Or even with the chandelier incident. Why would a killer risk hurting a lot of people, when he is dead set on killing just an individual? If people were busy enjoying the dances, why not use it as distraction to kill Tannu? How does the killer know for sure that the chandelier will fall on Tannu only? Exactly what does the insides of Asad's head contain? Lead?
The live wire in Zoya's bathroom. If Tannu's ex had indeed kept a close eye on movements in Asad's house, why would he mistake Zoya's bath room for Tannu's? Her room is upstairs, right? The chandelier, the live wire, the blood samples, all ended up nearly killing Zoya or putting her in criminal docks. But that's just coincidence according to Asad, correct?
Why can't a successful business man in the construction industry who probably reads Harvard Business review for fun, not see an amazing pattern that each time he is in the general vicinity of Zoya or nearing confession something bad happens to Tannu. Otherwise, Tannu is fine. Again, that's co incidental according to Asad, correct?
And , The baap of it all.. at least Zoya put across her feelings lucidly when stating that she knows that Asad will always be there for her and set all the wrong, right. Basically saying she trusts him. He can deal with matters of love later, but why can't he reciprocate with Trust? In today's episode he showed first signs of being thawed out of his cold ruthless bashing avtaar. But matters shall nosedive in tomorrows episode. If Zoya can risk her life for a stranger like Mariam, beat up goons for troubling Najma, chase Raghu to bring him to justice, risk going to Siddiqui mansion during the sagai for his sake, why can't Asad TRUST her just this once? Trust that there's more to it than what meets the eye. There is never smoke without a fire. He doesn't have to think Tannu is a frigging liar, but he can at least admit to himself that he should try and make sense of it all.
