okay, dont kill me but I feel like Asad has come a long way from his egoistic ways! He has always hurt her, but if you recall he would never listen to her calmly before, he'd either yell at her or ignore her thoughts. But now he is actually listening to her, but he needs proof. Yes, I agree the CVs are making his character a bit dumb these days...he is ignoring the obvious BUT we have to see that he sees Tanveer as his best friend from his childhood, he doesn't know the real Tanveer, to him she is probably the sweet girl that used to make him bread and jam...So it's going to take a lot to bring him around.
But today, he clearly said that "you don't have any proof", he is not ignoring Zoya's feelings, but he is asking her to prove what she says. And also, he referred to her as part of the family, thus making it clear that Tanveer is not when he said "is ghar ke dost", he never included her as part of the family. And I don't know if I am reading into this too much, but that look on his face when Zoya said sorry was that of a tortured man, her tears and her apology affected him a lot. So before we start bashing Asad's character, we need to realize that this track is VERY important in changing his views, to make him realize that people aren't what they seem.
So I am going to wait and hope the CVs redeem Asad's character, he needs to get somewhat suspicious atleast...I agree with you there. He is being gullible, but Tanveer is using his weaknesses against him, the woman seems to have an on/off button for her tears and sobs -_-
