If 4 lions legacy is anything to go by this nikaah for all purposes would indeed take place but the shauhaar and his shareek-e-hayaat, will put up with pretenses of a happily married couple for the world , yet shall continue their struggle to transcend the circumstances that prevent the all important 'honest to allah miyan' confession between the two.
Gul's stories are pretty much formulaic.. they toe the line, that spells success (read Geet and IPK) and she rarely deviates from the " angry dude and live wire girl fighting their feelings initially, but immortalize their love upon overcoming the proverbial circumstantial conundrum".
Zoya's current Byomkesh Bakshi avtaar will not be received well by Akdoo Ahmed Khan and between catty going one up on Zoya and nikaah preps, he shall fail to express his love to Zoya.
The two wouldn't even in their dreams dare to belittle Dilshaad's vow by calling off the nikaah. But the sourness created by the drama leading upto nikaah will infuriate Asad enough to say some very hurtful things to Zoya. Like,how he cannot stand the thought of having her in his life if it weren't for ammi.
(Also,I feel strongly about Gul's stance on Dilshaad. Itne khubsurat character ka is tarah mazak nahi banayenge. Maybe later when she discovers that Zoya Asad are still playing their I hate you games she will be heart broken).
Zoya being Zoya, will have no choice to put up with the farce of a nikaah for her dear phoophi and by now her aapi's sake. Needless to say, the fighter in her will resolve to checkmate Tannu's move. Plus she is head strong enough to marry Asad, only to prove her stand.By the time Asad is in control of his anger and decides to reason with Zoya
( as also subsequently tell her that he loves her) the Siddiqui issue will be out and it would be Zoya's turn to repel Asad's every effort.
All of Gul's show have a definite, misunderstanding- hate- redemption, track.Both Geet and IPK have had male leads doing the retribution gig. And they witnessed stupendous success.
So for now, it will be a nikaah with all the rituals in place but the bride and groom are unhappy deep within...There will be another nikaah , much later on the show presumably after it is established that Rashid was a scapegoat in the gudiya factory ki saazish, minus all the rituals when the two shall bond as souls.
Bottom line, Tannu sirf dooriyaan bada sakti hai , judne de ya na de, juda toh definitely nahi kar sakti. Infact , agar woh nahi hoti toh dono love birds kabhi itne pass nahi aate. Humein toh Shukraguzaar hona chahiye inka. Catty ka track itni jaldi nahi wrap up karenge. Saare negative elements sirf Siddiqui household mein toh nahi daal sakte na.
Chahe nafrat ho, mohabbat ho, gum ho, khushiyaan ho...sabka apna waqt hota hai mukammal hone ke liye. Agar big bang nahi hota toh universe kahan se aata? Taanu se baar bar maat nahi kahyengi toh Zoya ko apne tareeke ko rethink karne ka mauka kaise milega? Tannu ka dhoka nahi jhelega toh Asad ko mohabbat ke sahi maayne kaise pata chalenge?? woh din bhi ayega... bas thoda aur waqt dena hoga.
Audience ko jo itna test kar rahe hai, filhaal udhaari hi sahi, humko woh waqt dena Qubool hai...😆
