Thank you so much to everyone who commented on last update…. So many nice comments but since I had to give the update so I am unable to reply any previous comments though I want it as so many of u have given me such long comments… will try to do it with comments on this update…… This update is dedicated to each and every reader who have read,liked and commented but specially to –Sanz-,Bewuster and Manika.
Answers to few queries.
Dumas:- Thank u for always commenting …Juhi loves Arnav with all her heart so she still loves him.
La and NK are truly in love with each other now.

Ipkknd_gd:- I have answered to ur question before but m answering it again… Juhi and Arnav are engaged and their marriage was supposed to happen in few months.

As for Arnav still wanting to marry Juhi the answer is no he never wanted to marry her but have agreed for her sister's sake and for those who asked that how can he kiss Juhi so she is his fianc so he kissed her as he was frustrated after seeing Khushi with mohit and 2nd time he kissed her when he wasn't in right state of mind yes the 2nd kiss shouldn't happen but it did… sometimes when someone is so stressed out and not thinking rationally they act in stupid ways so Arnav did it all…. I am not siding him for what he did… but other than the kisses they don't share any physical relation. I am sorry for not being clear in this aspect.

Chapter 21
WHAT HAD HAPPENED DURING ALL THIS TIME IN DEHLI
Anjali was sitting in hospital . Her mind drifted to the events of last night.
Flash Back
Shyaam was restless from past many days and it wasn't get unnoticed by Anjali. It was night time and both were in their bedroom. She was busy in knitting and he was changing the channels absent mindedly.
She placed the knitting on the table and hugged him.
"Why are you so worried Shyaam ji." She asked him
"Nothing Anjali I was just wondering about one thing."
"hmm" Anjali asked
"Don't you think Arnav still loves Khushi ji?" He asked her
"I don't know. I was under this assumption that they love each other but that night when he confessed he married her because of me then I thought he didn't love her. But after she left his condition spoke otherwise. So I am hell confuse."
She replied
Shyaam kept quiet for sometime and then said, "I want to tell you something more. Something I haven't told you before."
"Hmm?" She could managed to say only that.
"Those pictures the one which you all thought to be Khushi's were not hers." Shyam said and came to a sitting position.
"What do you mean?" She said looking at his face.
"I hired a bar girl who looked like Khushiji and that were her pictures not Khushiji's" he said getting up from the bed.
"You mean that video?" she left the sentence incomplete
"Yes that one too"
"And that baby?"
"Was Arnav's blood. Khushi ji was innocent. I wanted to take revenge from her for the slaps and Arnav too. I was too mad and didn't think about anything."
"Oh what did you do Shyaam ji and what did I do! Oh god! I..I myself ruined my chotey's life." She said while holding her forehead with her left hand
"I did that as a revenge but why did you take my side? This question is always nagging my mind. Why didn't you inform Arnav about me." he asked her
Anjali was quiet for some time and then she replied
" I don't know but I think my insecurities made me do it. I was angry on Khushi ji that she was the reason behind this all. I was feeling insecure for my brother's love. Since his birth I was always the 2nd best in my family. Everyone used to love and pamper chotey. Not that I am complaining as I love him too but the difference my parents and relatives show while loving Arnav and me hurt me. When I got to know about chotey's love for Khushi ji I was very happy for him. But when I saw that for the same Khushi ji you were deceiving me then it hurt me all over again. I could feel that something was not normal between them as a couple but still I could see the love between them. But then one day I saw them like a normal couple. Khushi ji was blushing under my brother's gaze and he was smiling. I was really happy. I saw my chotey giving importance to Khushi ji and I was happy with it but then when you deceived me for the same girl I got angry and then I was insecure, insecure for my position in my brother's and husband's lives. That night when chotey told us about their marriage and when I saw those pictures I neglected the facts I saw with my bare eyes. I sided you because after seeing the picture my believe on your lie strengthen and I didn't inform Chotey anything because that time I thought it was an unnecessary topic to put forward. You had made the promise to not to repeat that mistake ever again and I was so much dependant on you that I could do nothing but believe you. And now after knowing it all I don't know what to do or say."
She placed her head in her hands.
Before Shyaam could say anything there was a loud knock on the door. He rushed towards the door and yanked it open. Sohana's naany was standing there with worried expressions.
"Sir wo Sohana baby bayhosh ho gai hain"
"What?" he ran towards Sohana's room and Anjali soon followed him.
"What happened to her Shyaam? Why does she faint like this." she asked with a tear filled face.
"Its karma... the payback for my sins." he replied and cradling Sohana in his arms he ran outside with Anjali trying hard to keep the pace. Both went to hospital where Sohana was immediately taken to emergency. Doctor came towards Shyam before going inside the emergency and said,"Mr. Jha we have told you before to take the child abroad please pay heed to our advice before its too late."
What happened to her Shyaam" Anjali asked him
"She is suffering from heart disease and needs a surgery as soon as possible." He told her in a slow voice.
"Wh.. What?.Bu..but why? We have taken so much care of her why?"
"According to doctors its because of the fever she had developed last winter and you remember we thought it just normal viral infection."
"Yes now what will happen to my baby Shyam ji. Please save her. Please Shyam ji I cant live without her."
She cried aloud
Flash Back ends
Shyam came back from doctor's room and what he saw made him regret on his actions all over again. His wife was leaning backwards and tears were rolling down her eyes. He silently took the chair beside her and held her in his arms.
"Shyam ji what did doctor said?" She asked
"He is saying that things are ok for now but we have to take her abroad as soon as possible." He told her
"So now?"
"Now I will first do the necessary search and paper work and then we will leave for the best treatment for our daughter."
"I want to talk to Khushi ji I want to beg to her to forgive us." She wept aloud
"Me too me too Anjali" he said to her and that's when their non stop calls to NK started as they were sure that he knew about Khushi

"How can she do this. She has left me to join her. Yeh to badkari hai."
Mrs Sharauf who just came to see his son smiled at his poor hindi and said
"NK baita its Gadari not badkari"
NK looked at his mum and said,"whatever it is but still she left me. Isnt this unfair mom."
Mrs. Sharauf said in a serious tone," Well I guess its her thing to decide and I can never get why is she even here in the 1st place. Isnt she..." before his mom can complete her usual bad-mouthing habit for his friend he interrupted
"Mom havent I told you many times before that dont abuse her. Dont forget it because of her that your son agreed for this engagement."
"I don't know anything but if something wrong happens today only you and she will be the ones to accuse." She said in anger and went out of the room.

Khushi was very happy. Today was the engagement of two of her most
loved ones. The only two people who stood by her when the world stood
against. Even now only these two were with her. La's family didnt know
much about her but NK's family knew everything about her thanks to
Manorma singh Raizada. NK's mother was worried initially that NK might
get married to THAT girl. The stress was always on that with such hate
and disgust. But later on when NK told her about his likings for La. She was relaxed after knowing it. Little did she knew that it was Khushi who broughtthem together as she could never see NK in any other way else friend. The continuous noise coming from the dressing room made her run towards it. La was practically throwing everything on floor.
"Now whe..where the hell other one's gone. It was just here minutes ago."
She was looking here and there.
"What happened La" She asked Lavanya.
"I can't find my other earring it was here a few minutes ago and now its not"
Khushi also started looking for the missing earring while listening to the La's wails. She saw something glittering near the vanity stool and picked up the other earring.
"Here you go" She handed it over to La with a smile.
"Oh Khushi tum na hoti to mera kya hota. I am so nervous." La hugged her tight."My heart is beating so fast see its all dhak dhak" Khushi laughed aloud at her condition.
"You are laughing cant believe it" La turned her face away.
"Hey La you are getting engaged not getting murdered." Khushi said laughingly. "And its NK not some horrible unknown monster so relax."
"La baita are you ready" Mrs Kashyap asked coming to the room.
"Yes Ma I guess I am" La said biting her nails.
"Wah my baby is looking very pretty." Mrs Kashyp kissed her forehead.
"Khushi Baita you are not ready." She asked Khushi
"Ermm Aunty I am actually not feeling good so I might not be coming" Khushi replied.
"Oh no no no girl you are not doing anything like this. I know why are you saying this but you have to come otherwise there is scene of our engagement" La gave a threatening look to Khushi.
"La you know that.." Lavanya cut her off and said "NK and I know whats the problem but do you think we will leave you alone to tackle everything on your own."
"No but..
No ifs and buts... You are going and that's final." La said and moved towards the cupboard and handed over the dress they had bought for Khushi.
Khushi's phone rang the moment she was ready. She checked and saw that NK was calling.
"Your fianc-to-be seems to be impatient. He is calling me." She switched on the speakers and said in teasing voice. "Hello Mr. Impatient how may I help you."
"Khushi where are you? You were supposed to be with me." NK asked in anger.
"Well she is with me as technically it's the bride who needs moral support and all that and if that bride in question is getting engaged to someone like you then she needs lots of moral support so chill." La spoke mockingly.
"La don't joke around ok" he heard both the girls laughing. "Ok go on laughing" he cut the call. After sometime he got call from La
"Yeah was there any mocking left" NK barked in phone.
"No but you tell me you sounded worried so I am calling you from washroom as I am sure its something related to Khushi." La said patiently as she knew NK too well now.
"La I don't know Ma is behaving so bad in her absence and I have no idea how will she behave on her face," He said in anxiety, "And now Raizadas will be here too I know Di and jiju are changed now but how after they themselves are made to see their wrong doings by fate but the others specially Massi ji I cant trust her at all and that good for nothing sister of Khushi ji."
"Don't worry NK nothing will happen and you know after seeing what we have planned they all will get down on their knees in front of Khushi and I hope this time she don't forgive them."
She said with determination.
"Yeah I hope so… Acha listen I love you!" NK said
"Woh to mjhy pata hai." She said smilingly
"Don't you have to say anything in reply." NK asked with a pout
"Hmm no I don't think so" She teased him
"I will see you soon and then we will see about this too." He said with a determination
She laughed before ending the call.
"They know about you and your character now you see so theres no point to meet them." A cold voice from her right made her halt in her step. She looked towards the owner of the voice and saw Payal glaring towards her.
"I told them everything and now they hate you even more and that's what you deserve" She spoke again.
"Ba..but you promised not to tell them if I not go to their house." She asked brokenly
"What should I tell them when they didn't see you so I told them that you eloped with your lover."
"How could you do that?" she asked her
"When you could do what you did I can do this too." Payal said and moved away.
Khushi turned towards her parents and now saw it. The clear hate and anger in her mother's and buaji's eyes and then she looked towards his father and what she saw froze her for a moment.
