Ovi can't do wrong by leaving for Canada, if her Mother was never there for her, never blessed her marriage, because she wanted her favourite daughter to get Arjun. Her Father put the same girl who came in between her and Arjun in his will. Her sister Teju could not be glad for the birth of her child (when they thought Pari was), because Purvi who she just know for a year, lost her child.
Who is Ovi really staying back for? Archana blatantly stated that Purvi is her favourite child, so let Purvi be the daughter to Archana, why does anyone expect anything from Ovi?
Even if Ovi is considered spoilt, Manav had to do it, to make up for the mess he and Archana created of their marriage. that is what a lot of divorced parents do, this case is even worse, because Manav felt Archana abandoned them, so yes he would go out of his way to make sure Ovi is happy, even if it is superficially. She deserves it. Purvi was lucky to be raised by her Mother, Ovi was not. I cant help but have some Mercy on Ovi. I would be heartless if I didn't.
Even now Manav made some fake attempt at supporting Ovi, and what did he do after? Help Onir get out of prison for swapping the babies, hurting his daughter and Purvi only got some pathetic scolding she goes scotch free.
Who in the family really has Ovi's back? No one, so why should she care about staying back for Archana? If Archana was my Mother, I would never even look at her. Archana made no attempt at being a Mother, why should Ovi years younger than her be the better person and be a good daughter to a woman, not only went to court against her Father with her and her sister in her womb, she never even tried to find out about her children from Manav's sister.
Archana was planning a wedding for Purvi, while Ovi was attempting suicide, she could not even wait until things were okay for Ovi, no care. she is not a Mother to Ovi,
She is a pathetic excuse for a Mother, and she does not deserve for Ovi to give her the rights of a Mother.
