I wouldnt completely blame Ovi. She was going through a horrible phase in her life where she lost her baby, wasnt even allowed to see it for a last time, and found out that the baby she thought was hers was actually her husband and sister's child. The time she needed her mother the most, she wasnt there to support her, and so she took that modelling assignment in order to distract herself from everything wrong that has happened in her life. Acc. to me she very much needed a break from her dramatic family. Plus everyone is there with Archana, how would her being there help anything. Just one more person in the crowd crying constantly looking at Archana's condition.
