madhu : shaayad vo versova waale flat pe ho...driver jaldi chalao...

Chapter 11 - ENVELOPES

In the car

madhu's phone rings..."sultan calling"

sultan : madhu tum gharpe nahi ho? kya tum ro rahi ho?

madhu : vo rk...rk

sultan : kya kiya usne?

madhu : rk lapataa hai...sab meri galti hai...(sultan cuts the phone)

(its night now)

At The Versova Flat

madhu and bittuji reach the versova flat... surprisingly the door is open...madhu switches on the lights...everything looked the same exactly like how madhu had seen it earlier...except the diiner table...the dinner table was clean without any plates or candles..but, there were some envelopes lying there...madhu walked towards the table(she remembers that night)...bittuji followed her...madhu was about to pick up the envelopes when bittuji's phone rang...

bittuji : hello..

radhaji : bittuji kuch pata chala mere rishu ka? Kya madhu ko kuch nahi pata? (crying)

bittuji : auntiji...hum dhoondh rahe hain chief ko...bhabhiji ko bhi kuch bataya nahi hai chief ne...

radhaji : bittuji...jaldi kijiye kahin kuch galat-salat na ho jaaye...vo...rishu ko lene maine sitaara studio bhi gayi thi...wahan par bhi nahi thaa rishu...

bittuji : auntiji sambhaaliye...main abhi pohochta hoon...(call over)

madhu: kya hua bittuji??

Bittuji : bhabhiji vo auntiji pareshaan hain...mujhe ghar jaana hoga...kahin unki tabiyat na kharab ho jaaye...(then bittuji stares at the envelopes) yeh kya hai bhabhiji?

Madhu : pata nahi bittuji...likha hai "for mrs. Madhubala Rishab Kundra, confidential, read when alone"...main yeh le leti hoon saath...abhi aapka ghar pohochna zaroori hai..

And both madhu and bittuji leave from there...

Madhu : bittuji aap jaayiye main taxi lekar chawl chali jaaoongi..

Bittuji : bhabhiji aap ghar nahi chal rahi?

Madhu : main maa(radhaji) ko kya jawaab doongi aur phir agar rk chawl aaya toh?

Bittuji : thik hai bhabhiji main aapko chawl chod detaa hoon phir rk mansion..

At the chawl

Padmini opens the door...

Padmini : madhu tu baith main khaana lagati hoon tere liye..subah se kuch khaaya nahi hai tuune

Madhu : maa mujhe bhookh nahi hai..

Padmini : kaha thaa maine tujhse durr rehna rk se...chod diya naa tujhe?

Trishna : maa kya kar rahi ho!! Ek toh madhu waise hi pareshaan hai aur aap..

Madhu : didu maine aur bittuji ne har jagah dekha...(crying) sab meri hi wajah se hua...main kyu wahaan se bhaag aayi...

Trishna hugs madhu and says "pareshaan mat ho glycerine...kuch nahi hoga...hum dhoondh lenge usse"

Madhu goes in her room...she starts opening the envelopes...there are three of them...

(refer ch 6...thats when the letters are written)

1^st envelope:

Biwi,

Main jaanta thaa tum yahaan zaroor aaogi...ab jab prem game 2 ka faislaa ho hi gaya toh main dil se tumhe yeh denaa chahta hoon...shaayad yeh hona hi thaa...yeh adhuri shaadi main khatam karna chahta hoon...

"Contract dismissed"

1) I , Rishab Kundra have received the amount of rupees 40 lakhs from mr. Shamsher Mallik and his daughter therefore, no more belongs to me as Madhubala Rishab Kundra.

2) Madhubala rishab kundra is now officially miss madhubala shamsher mallik

3) Madhubala is no more my legally wedded wife.

Madhu : i dont know bittuji...it says, "for mrs. Madhubala Rishab Kundra, confidential, read when alone"...i'll take this along with me...now its important for you to reach home...

And both madhu and bittuji leave from there...

Madhu : bittuji u go i'll take a taxi till chawl...

Bittuji : bhabhiji aren't you coming home?

Madhu : how will i face maa (radhaji) and then what if Rk comes to chawl?

Bittuji : alright bhabhiji i'll drop you at chawl and then go to rk mansion..

At the chawl

Padmini opens the door...

Padmini : madhu u sit i'll get dinner for you...u haven't eaten since morning...

Madhu : maa i'm not hungry...

Padmini : i had warned you to stay away from Rk...he left you right?

Trishna : maa what are u doing !! madhu is already tensed and you...
