I have a feeling that Gauri might not died but I don't get Shiv why is he hiding the truth that he loves Ipshu some how I thing there is more to this raaz but to make the drama they will bring out things that we don't like.

possible and the main raaz will be tht there is no problem with shiv's kundali and it was all a chal by mahen to make shiv marry gauri, so he will get the land,and guruji is mahen's right hand.

I dont think that the land is a plausible excuse for the marriage. After all did Alok not owe a lot of money to Mahen which he had written off? He could have asked for the land instead, could he not instead of bringing Gauri into the house?
