I read some posts where people were saying that Zoya's reaction to Asad's proposal wasn't right.She's emotionally challenged etc etc..
I don't think it's right to say that Zoya's emotionally challenged just bcoz she was not romantic at date.
See the matter from her side..what she has got from Asad is only "u r misfit for me n my family" "u don't deserve to be a friend or wife" "u r irresponsible" blah blah..Asad loves her but still doesn't like her so much.How u believe that a man who always keen to find ur fault,shouts on u in front of everyone,considers u as undeserving for him can love u??He never expressed his feelings in words to her.Being a simple n innocent girl it's so difficult for Zoya to understand his unnatural mindset..no she doesn't understand it..specially when the emotion is related with herself.She can't think that she could get the top position of his priority list ever..it's always belongs to his family n Tanu.So,it's a hell shock for her that MR. KHAN LOVES HER.
Her feeling are very natural n genuine.Even she doesn't know whether he'll ever love her back or not she'd love him unconditionally.

i totally agree with you, Zoya knows he cares for her a little bit, Asad saved her life, comforted her when she cried, he was always there when she needed him. but Asad always felt she was irresponsible and immature. the she is different for him and any other girl he knows. he could not believe she is right for him and his family. but Zoya is Zoya, this Zoya could go to any ends just to give him happiness. it was Zoya who bridged the gap between him and his beloved brother. Zoya always understood the bond the the two brothers had. and she made an effort to undestand Asad as well. and in many way she understands him better then he understands himself.

Asad never vissiable tired to understand Zoya. he knows she has seen a lot of suffering in her life, and he does not understand how she brings the joy into her and everybody life so easily. he does not understand how she can put her pain aside and look for happiness. Zoya never holds grudges and forgives easily. unlike Asad,

so when it comes to herself how can Zoya even for a minute bring herself to believe that Mr. Khan is madly in love with her, her Zoya the misfit, who doesnt deserve to he a part of any family, who wounld never be the perfect wife, or daughter in law according to him.

Asad has to climb mt Everest, or at least a few mountains to convince Zoya that he is madly in love with her. or at least tell her to her face, "ZOYA I LOVE YOU AND I WANT TO MARRY YOU AND I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH YOU, I DONT CARE IF YOUR NOT LIKE ME AND YOUR NOT PERFECT BUT YOU ARE THE ONLY WOMAN WHO COMPLETES ME AND MAKES ME PERFECT." i think that would do it, and ofcouse kick billi out.

Nice! 👍🏼 i agree! It's not Zoya's fault either she doesn't expect positive from Asad's side because he has always been negative about her. Even if Asad's message is clear she still doesn't want to believe it because in the end she knows she would be hurt just like everytime.

Mr Khan went out of his way to plan a romantic date and was doing such a close dance with her and she still wonders that its about breakup. Sorry but it didn't gel well with me that Zoe is shown as dumb (she never was and i didnt like it) though I agree it was cute and funny to watch. My POV

I feel that her expressions were spot on. She is a little surprised by his actions and she can feel what he is trying to do. She feels the attraction when he comes closer, but she also needs the verbal assurance. She has always heard negative about her from him and now she needs to hear that he loves her.

I felt her monologues were a little silly, but maybe they were there for the comic factor, so i will ignore it. But I must say that I loved Surbhi's expressions changing from surprised to passion to anticipation.

well that was common sense

past record is a different thing but when i see a guy with a candle ...caker ...dinner...romantic intense...its not about how he use to be before...

she is blessed with eyes and she could see that it was a romantic date and since asad sent saaree with love note...it was offcourse for her as she was invited...

in real life a girl cant be so emmotionally challenged to not see the meaning of it !!!
