I would lie I use to watch American soaps like Days of our life & Passion I find days quit boring Passion was decent entertainment wise but way too much drama for my taste I don't like Indian soaps as well to be honest until IPK comes along. I prefer watching American serial than soaps in American soap they are temporarily replacement character filling in.

I used to watch lots of American series before IPK.. IPK was my first hindi serial.. I just couldn't watch anything after that.. Every time when i get some free time i used to go to you tube and watch it over and over again..(I know we r not suppose to discuss other dramas) But all the soaps r too much drama... Even the Aussie soaps r the same.. I prefer Chhanchhan over any of them even though it's not one of the top hindi serials in India...

but in indian soaps they dont challenge the actor atleast they give actresses ground to cover like lacey turner who played stacy in eatenders she did controversial storylines thats why i like them they take risks being easy going is boring
