I was under the impression that this show was about two estranged families and how Ms. Farouqui would help build a bridge between them.
The earlier episodes featuring her meeting with Raashid were promising, as were her plans and shenanigans in cahoots with junior bro a.k.a. Raabert.
However, since March the show seems to have gotten sidetracked by the sidetrack of Tunveer.
Granted, she was introduced as a means to buy time to replace Raabert and also provide a stumbling block to the relationship development between Ms.Khan and Ms. Farouqui, but she seems to be long outliving her usefulness.
The show is now poised to disintegrate into the repugnant yet standard Ekta Kapoor popularized saas-buhoo 'challenge' matches, except now it is more of a cat-fight.😕
The state of Siddiqui household and the details of all the schemes and tortures there are unspeakable.🤢
Neither of Ms. Gul Khan's earlier shows were like this.
One must wonder if she is choosing to deviate from her tried and true and instead follow in Ekta Kapoor's detestable-yet-successful footsteps.
While money certainly rules, one hopes not.
There is a tremendous amount of story left to even commence if Ms.Farouqui is to bring the two families closer.
When will the story come back on track?
