I don’t know whether she is a positive or negative character. As the story progresses, Shalini Batra will continue to grow. I do know that she has returned from London and runs an NGO and an ashram where she cares for underprivileged children. There is definitely a backstory to Shalini, and only time will tell whether Sharda and Shalini are the same person. That’s going to be interesting.”

Her statement has further increased speculation among viewers. The possibility of a connection between Sharda and Shalini has become a major talking point. Whether she has returned with good intentions or hidden motives is something only the upcoming episodes will reveal.

Jayati also spoke about how she felt returning to the sets after a few weeks’ break. She expressed that she deeply missed her team and remained in constant touch with them during her time away. She shared, “I missed my entire team. They constantly stayed in touch and kept asking when I would return. When I informed Bharat (Raghav) that I would soon start shooting for the show, he was like, ‘Oh, my aunt is back!’ He sounded so happy. Even I was eager to know when my character would come back into the storyline.”

Her return clearly carries emotional value not just for the audience but also for the cast and crew.
