Is Ayaan better for Zoya after all?

Before all of you jump on me for even daring to suggest such a thing, I would like you to consider the present course of events.

We thought that Asad is in love with Zoya now, that he will become less rigid towards her, more emotionally open and available and caring towards his partner.

But what we see him doing is repeating the same behaviour that he displayed 6 months ago.

There is virtually no change in his outlook- leave alone change, even if he does try to change he just resorts to the same old insults again!

On the contrary, Ayaan has proved to be much more broad minded.

For eg, during his Sangeet, when his own fiancee was poisoned, he chose to go with his instincts and believe in Zoya, a friend whom he knew only through their telephone convos!

Passion may be very good in its place, but in the long term what is needed in a relationship is trust and mutual understanding. Will Asad be able to provide that to Zoya?

I am just hating Zoya turning into a doormat once again, high time the gal spoke up. Asad's blind faith will cost him very dear, I feel!

P.S. This is by no means a comparison post intended to hurt anyone's feelings. I believe in AsYa Magic, but today's episode forced me to come out of my fantasy and analyze the events calmly and rationally.

Opinions ? 😊

I agree and disagree. I completely, 200%, believe that Zoya needs to stop being a doormat. How many times is Asad going to misunderstand her, not let her explain, insult her, learn he was wrong in the first place, apologize, and Zoya will forgive him? How many times?!?!?!?😡

She seriously needs to say that enough is enough! How can he love her and still not trust her even a little? Why can he not consider that Zoya might have a valid reason before accusing her? The only change really is that now when he realizes he's wrong, or actually when he's made to realize, he hurts more and has learned to say sorry. It is SO frustrating seeing this cycle repeat over and over again. Asad is going to act the same way when he knows Zoya will keep on forgiving him and being all happy-go-lucky the next second.

I completely disagree with Ayaan and Zoya pairing. Yes, Ayaan showed more trust but it was as a friend. And Ayaan is more laid back than Asad. He doesn't have the same misgivings about Zoya as Asad. Asad also has a perpetual stick up his a** and is what some will call a tortured soul so it's not as easy for him to show emotions. This does not in any way excuse his horrible treatment of Zoya. Also, Ayaan and Zoya are too alike and there's just no chemistry. I really hope they don't end up getting married as it says on the Zee TV site.

One day, it is going to be too little, too late for Asad. I face-palmed so badly in the maha episode when Asad said the chandelier was meant for Tanveer. Seriously?! Zoya was the only one under it and Tanveer was no where near! I don't understand how his brain is working right now. I am just so frustrated and completely bored with Asad's behavior. I just want to shake some sense into him!

Ugh. I needed to rant.

Interesting thoughts here.

But the brothers are very different.

Ayaan has not had his trust broken and had to deal with the things that Asad had to go through. For Ayaan as terribly it was to be taken away from Dilshaad's house he still had his father and mother and the rest of his family with him.

Asad was left alone and had to grow up fast to help support his mother and his baby sister. Asad has trust issues. It is hard for him to let someone in. His friendship with Tanveer happened when he was younger. So those that he was close to during his childhood and saw him through those tough times will be very near and dear to his heart. He has no reason to suspect what Tanveer is doing.

And unfortunately Zoya has been shown time and time again despite her best intentions get into some sort of trouble. Asad cannot but help jump to his initial conclusion that she has some blame in what happened. What probably bugs him the most is how she even gets into these situations in the first place. Her heart may have good intentions but situations seem to always end up in such a disarray state. I by no means am defending Asad's behavior as he has been proven time and time again that Zoya is not at fault and there was a genuine reason for her actions.

He can be angry and upset but he really needs to curb the type of words coming out of his mouth. He doesn't realize the impact of his words when he is angry. He just starts shouting.

I remember the scene after the whole chicken blood fiasco, Zoya finally comforted him that his words really hurt her and she couldn't believe that was what he thought of her. Asad disappeared in shame realizing what he did to her.

Asad is flawed...in fact every character is flawed...no one is perfect.
