Love was always there..even back then..and it is present even now..
however his ego took precedence then..her hurt and pain and hia insecurities now..
not all is well..not everything is solved..but there is hope..hope that they can sort it out..hope that one day it will be alright..
their interaction in the chawl during the proposal, at the site of the newly built house and the further opening up of his pain regarding his father..the scenes are reminiscent of their interactions before the unwedding and it is why they hold significance..
he had created those situations to make her fall for him completely, make him the centre of her existence so that he could break her completely..what he didnt bargain was that in making her fall for him he ended up maken her the focal point of his existence aswell
his emotions may have been genuine then but his fake intentions tainted those precious moments before the unwedding..atleast for her..
this is a way of showing her that though the intentions were wrong the noments were precious nonetheless..a way to untaint the memories in her mind..a way to make her believe in them once again..
He proposed her in the very chawl where he had dumped her with those humiliating words, albeit fulfilling her condition..but with that he proved that he was ready to give precedence to his love over his ego unlike before
he took her to the house he was building on the very plot he had shown her before..a step ahead in their relationship..it was juat a dream then ..but something concrete that was in the process of being built just like their relation
him telling her about his father once again..taking her to his studio..a way to show that even though he had been incoreigible to use his fathers story to reel her in back then not all that he shared was false..it was to show to her that he understood the pain she must be going through knowing that Padmini was against her decision..it was to tell her that he was there with her in her pain..
He needs to do this and much more..to make her believe that its worth it to give a second chance to him and her..to them..
he went to great lengths to get her trust back then..he will have to go to greater lengths this time after having broken that blind trust once..to clear the doubts her mind will raise of what if he is playing with her again..
nothing would undo the hurt, pain and humiliation he gave her but this undoing would ensure they can both move forward and form new memories..
