Saw some varying opinions on this particular sequence and thought it warranted a poll.

the scene and flashbacks were fab but the song didn't match it also I wish ChanMan had their own song...my opinion has nothing to do with Sanayas previous show

I thought the scene was very good.

My first reaction was ... Not this song!

No matter how much I try to justify the use of the song...I am going to stay with my first reaction.."...no way...not this song."

My objection is choice of song.

The wordings of the song were placed at the right places throughout the scene.

For instance

1. They showed both of them thinking about and longing for each other ..."ek duje se hue juda jab ek duje ke like bane"

2. Kabhi socha na tha yeh Meelon door hoga saya...he is standing behind the car and looking at her from a distance, signifying the sudden wall that stands between them

3.Yeh tadap keh Rahi hai MIT jaye faasle...again showed them in pain and missing each other.

4. Teri Meri Baton ka har Lamha sabse anjana...showed FB of first coffee shop date where they are enjoying their sweet talk.

The scene ended with CC remembering UB taunting her and then Dadi laying the final decision on MAnav, Whether he will listen to his mom or his heart. The scene zoomed into CCs eyes and beautifully transitioned to MAnav sitting down to write a note to his mom.

In my opinion, the scene was perfectly executed and the leads gave superb expressions and the BG did justice to the scene.

My objection is to the choice of song.

Teri Meri and Jadoo hai Nasha hai are iconic songs for Sanaya's previous show ... the makers could have avoided offending sensibilities of Sanaya fans, and chosen another song. Having said that, they did place the lyrics carefully with the visuals, so I felt the words went with the choice of scenes.
