Dear Sushita,

Thanks ever so much, my dear.

As for what you have noted, that is just it.

Just look at Parasurama yesterday! By pointedly informing Jalandhar that as soon as Parvati had completed the last stage of the ashtanga yoga and reassumed her adi shakti roop, he would be killed, he effectively ensures that Jalandhar will try to stop her for completing the 8th stage, no matter how he has to do it.

But then that is Parasurama all over! Look at the way he reacted to Ganesha stopping him from entering Kailash!

Saumya, why on earth are you so skittish about the term rebuttal? Don't be, please!

What is a healthy debate but a series of rebuttals and counter-rebuttals? If one agreed completely or in large part with what another has said, one simply states that, and that is the end of that, which is of course boring! I thought you were excellent, and my agreeing or not with one or more of your comments has nothing to do with my appreciation of your response (see, just to please you, not 'rebuttal'!).

I cited Mahatma Gandhi as an illustration of the principle that the means are as important as the end, that was all. Many other great indivduals have felt the same, but his is an easily accessible example. It was not off topic in my original post, for I did not expatiate on the point. His misjudgements, faults and errors do not come in as far as the limited issue of his holding fast to this principle goes.

On an internet forum things tend to take ugly turns at ta drop of a hat remember one your previous threads...one reason is we don't get to see the facial expression of the person infront...so yes you are right I was skittish and I am glad that you took my entire not rebuttal😉 as a healthy discussion...very few would have

ohh!! di,, i wanted to say same thing ..its like all ppl have only one mission ...
.i.e mission 'end jalandhar' ASAP :O
i really didnt understand what was purpose of parsuram ji behind this ?
like he was saying indirectly that ...'com'on jalandhar mata parvati is taking her 'adishakti roop'
what r u doing here'
n i felt that all rishis were irritating him too.

anyways ...jalandhar is one of the most challenging role fr mohit till now..i guess
n his expressions r always bang on!
