They all took their positions ready to break the security. They had to first capture granary and protect it.
It seemed that the power of terrorists was divided when they had sent out some to nail army. Outer line protection was quiet weak. They easily entered and made a big circle. They killed about 6 who tried to pull them down. Two men from army fell on ground dead.
Arjun felt something was not right so he voiced his thoughts to sameer.
"sam...mujhe kuch gadbad lag raha hai. I feel we took wrong decision"
"nahin yaar... dekh. That man told there are not many people here in this area. And we just saw that"
"Pann mala ajunahi vatatay kaytari chutay sam... amhala sambhalun rahayla pahije...(but I still feel something is wrong sam. We need to be careful)."
Seeing him, sameer was a bit confused. But they did not have enough time. He said sameer that he was going at another end and they would follow the basic plan.
Arjun nodded halfheartedly and saw him going away, but he still had a slight doubt in his heart. He shook that thought and focused on the plan.
They started moving in circles and that mere sight of fiery looking army men, determined about their task, would send chills down the spine of anyone.
But little did they know they were not moving according to their plan, but were stepping straight into their trap.

Shree was injured. But his senses never betrayed him. His gut told him there was something wrong with the entire scenario.
He started recalling all the incidents that took place that night.
He soon felt that they were being played at by the terrorists. Chill ran down his spine. He knew by this time entire troop would be in the village and there was no way out. He tried to connect to Arjun or sam but all tries went in vain.
He exasperated, turned to jay.
"jay I need to go back."
"Shree!!! Are you mad? Maine socha tha ki chot sirf shoulder aur ribs pe lagi hai. But now I am sure ki you have hurt your head aswell."
"shut up jay. I don't want to rain colorful words on you. So just shut up and listen to me. Our full team is in danger and we have conveniently fallen in their trap. We have to go. Our brother's are in danger"
Soon they marched back to the army and they saw the second troop ready to enter.
Shree explained them the situation and asked them to call back the rest troop as he was not able to connect to them.
All of a sudden, firing started. Army men could not fathom what was really transpiring.
Shree took charge of situation and started firing back and commanding his men to hide behind trees and rocks.
To his surprise, the firing stopped abruptly. He stepped out from his hiding along with jay and saw half of their men on ground, either dead or painfully hurt.
Shree knew that the condition was beyond their control. He immediately called their base and asked them to send backup.
But he knew that what ever they planned from outside the village would play no effect on the terrorists inside and his rest army men were in grave danger.

All of them could hear firing rounds outside.
Army in, seemed to be confused.
Suddenly, Arjun heard resonating gun sounds at the other end of the troop, exactly where sameer was there.
Arjun ran towards the source, and saw few men down and sameer no where found.
He ran fingers through his hair, utterly frustrated.
He knew there was no time left in his hands. He immediately returned back and ordered to start searching through every house, every nook and corner and kill any terrorist they saw. He turned around and saw Shree and few others running in.
"Shree!!!! Tum yahan?? Kya hua? Tum kyun aaye?"
"sir, inn sab ke liye time nahin hai. We are trapped. Baahar aadhe se zyada log ghayal pade hai aur shayad wo log bohut zyada hai in number. We are played."
"I know. Sam is missing. I know he ll handle it well but I am worried. I think its time for our last mission Shree."
"I know. I could not stand back and watch things taking worse turn so I came. Lets see if we can handle."
"all we need is one weak link" they both said it in unison and then smiled upon realizing it.
"chalo, its time. Koi bhi raaste mein dikhe, kill them. Civilians mile to baahar bhejdo ya kahin safe chupado. Spreadout"
They took different directions and they were men possessed. Their only aim now was to rescue the people and erase the name of those low lives from the earth.
Their pace was very fast. They did not leave any corner unchecked.
Yes, Arjun and Shree were right. they were more in number than they had actually expected. But nothing could stop them now. they would not step back.
With new found energy and enthusiasm, the troop now with limited members started hunting down the terrorists. soon their number was reduced, and army was gaining upper hand.
Little did they know, that still, they had danger lurking around them... among them...

Sameer was along with the troop when suddenly there was firing.
Before he could fathom anything, he felt a sharp pain shooting at the back of his head. He did not know when the world around him turned black and he slipped into deep state of unconscious.
He gained senses much later and saw himself tied. His vision was still hazy and very near him he heard two people whimpering. He waited till his vision cleared, and looked around. he closed his eyes in pain and groaned.
When he saw around again, he was left speechless. There was a girl, beautiful, as fresh as morning dew, tied. Few feet away, he saw another figure lying, smeared in blood.
"aisha... Shreekant..." he gasped.

The team swept every house, every store, every lane in that village and searched for the people.
They killed as many as they could.
They made their way to the granary and saw most gruesome thing in front of them.
They could not say which was worse.
Those ladies who were in state of unconscious and half dressed or the children tied and being whipped. Or to see two of their officers in worst condition, hands tied and bleeding.
Arjun was standing behind a house trying to bring down two at a time and to bring out a kid safe from their clutches.
He knew, their troop which had about 100 when they had started, now had less than 25 who could fight.
He knew they would never back down but yet, he had to consider before pushing them in front of demons as their baits. He could never risk their lives...
There were about 10 people around women, kids and the officers and many more inside the granary.
they had no choice but to stop. They had all the hostages under their grip. One wrong move and more than 40 lives in grave danger.

Shree was moving in front, clearing the areas along with Jay.
They were less in number but the firm mind to rescue people was not lowered.
They scanned each place rescuing people.
But they did not expect attack from their back. Shree was exhausted, but still kept fighting. It was not easy for him but he kept fighting.
He saw his buddy, Jay fall on ground dead. He immediately ordered rest to retreat and join Arjun or chotu. He tried to move but could not. His wounds would not stop bleeding and was soon surrounded by three men and taken away.

Arjun stood behind the pillar and saw the commotion near granary.
He could not believe what he saw there. His friend sam, Shree and moreover, Aisha?? What was she doing here? She was supposed to be on a mission in... o god... he thought. She was here following some lead and was trapped.
He heard someone speaking loudly
"agar inlogon ki jaan bachana hai aur granary ko bachana hai to dhyaan se sunlo. Tumhare wo lieutenant Arjun ko surrender karna hoga aur tum sab log yahan se door jaoge. Nahin to ye log marenge hi saath hi ye tumhare baaki teen officers bhi nahin bachenge. Hum tumhe bas 10 minute denge Arjun. Khud ko hamare hawale kardo. Warna..."
Arjun was not sure what he was to. He thought to attack directly and finish this once for all. He gripped his gun and stepped forward but saw two hostages dropped on ground dead. He hesitated and saw chotu few steps away from him.
He immediately called chotu
"chotu, waqt nahin hai hamare paas. Shree ne backup ke liye keh diya hai. Humara hare k kadam unlogon ko maut degi. Backup ke aane tak bacchi hui army ki zimmedaari tumhari."
"sir aap..."
"I am going in chotu. Wo sirf mujhe pakadna chahhte hai to I cannot risk other's lives. Wo mera kuch nahin bigaad sakte. I l be fine.."
"nahin sir, aap aisa nahin kar sakte. Aapko hero ban ne ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. Ye sarasar khudkushi hai sir"
"main koi hero nahin ban raha hun chotu. Par socho. Agar main ander gaya aur unlogon kop main hara pau to baaki log to safe rahenge na... mere hisaab se backup ekaad ghante mein aa jayegi. In logon ne bombs bhi plant kiye hai aur hum itne log kuch nahin kar paayenge."
"I agree sir par..."
"chotu meri baat dhyaan se suno."
Arjun narrated something in chotu's ears and agreed immediately.
Arjun kept his guns aside and took few knives and stuffed in his boots and vest and marched out.
The entire trop assembled stood shocked at his move. They tried to move forward but one signal from chotu, made them stop.

"ye khud ko kyun inn logon ke hawale karne aa raha hai? Paagal ho gaya hai kya?? Pagal ab kya hoga? Pehle se hi pagal hai ye.. par... whats that look in his eyes? He has some plan...warna... I looked around and saw why he was surrendering to those vile creatures. Our men were less in number and he did not want their lives to be n danger. Hey he signaled chotu something... but what and why our men are taking their steps backward?? Whats in his mind right now..
Before I could think of anything else I was dragged in along with Aisha and Shree. Aisha...
She is most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I like her, but she... wo to mujhe ghaas tak nahin daalti. Kya main itna bura dikhta hun? Gora chitta chehra, hatta-katta bhi hun phir kyun??? Aaj mauka hai...aaawww... he hit me? Abe saale ek baar haath khol de phir mein tera muh tod doonga...

He strode towards them and with corner of eyes saw sameer, Shree and Aisha being dragged in. he stood infront of them and experienced a punch.
"eff...ye sirf itna hi maar sakta hai kya mujhe? Isse accha to sam punch maarta hai."
He mumbled to himself and let them drag him inside the granary.
Arjun looked around the granary, looking for another way out.
He knew the more time he was here, the more time other's would get to rescue people. But yet, he could not sit idle.
He was hurled to the centre of the granary, a large circular area.
He saw sameer, Shree and Aisha, diagonally opposite to him.
He grew restless seeing them. He tried to move front but was pulled back and was punched hard on his jaw.
Corner of his lips split and bled.
"abbe oye...mujhe maara tu ne..."
Arjun punched the person right back. and he was about to kick him when two other's held him tight and pulled him back again.
"itna gussa... kyun? Tu hi hai na hamare itne saathiyomn ko maara??? Kyun?"
"tum jaise logon ko zinda chodna bhi nahin chahiye. Hamare desh ko tum log ganda kar rahe ho. Hamare logon ko maar rahe ho aur hum tumhe chod de? Nahin. Kabhi nahin."
He was kicked in his shin and Arjun collapsed.
Rage took over him and he pulled the person next to him on ground, knocking wind out of his lungs. He clutched his neck too tight but froze when he heard a painful gasp.
He lifted his head and saw them torturing sameer, punching and kicking him. his face held few bruises and blood was trickling down his forehead and lips.
