Nothing challenging on TV these days: Rati
Rati Pandey More Pics
Rati Pandey, the lead of Hitler Didi, feels there is nothing challenging on TV as such. She feels characters these days are either black or white, and there is hardly a scope of any experiment.

"There are no challenging roles on TV these days. In films, still there is scope of a challenge as you get to experiment with your character. But, what is a vamp on television? You just put a big bindi, put on dark lipstick, make weird expressions of face and you become a vamp. Where is the challenge? I think people fail to understand that no person is bad, but situations make him bad. There is a lack of a fresh character on TV these days," said Rati, during a candid chat.

Yayy! Another article! yeah Rati is totally right..there isn't any variety on television. Female characters are either shown to be shy bahus or bubbly girls or dangerous OTT vamps. Hope she keeps on getting the chance to experiment with roles :D

Yayaa article :D

Deffo agree with her! All the characters on telly are repetitive and not challenging whatsoever ... But so proud of RP for playing so many different characters in one show and getting appreciated for it

Tfs 👍🏼, very true Rati Di n the worst part they use the same facial expression ( which always look doll , these TV PH should look or talent not just a pretty face who can hardly act ) there is too much focus on trp which is real case that is ruining TV today .

Am so sick dil vs mil kind of story .
It's 2013 do something different yaar

Rati Di your show Mile Jab Hum Tum will always my all time favorite show everything about that show was amazing
Also HD is very different show n it's very good only if the makers didn't mess with it n ruined it with some unwanted storyline .
