I entered my cabin, it felt different, the smell that filled it was soothing, it was aroma of coffee. I asked Adi and he as usual just nodded, I sipped the coffee it was just perfect, as if it was made just the way I like, I did not know that I like coffee, but yes I did, so a complete NO to that tea thing.

I sat on my chair and looked around, the orchids today were not only purple but they were proportionally mixed with white ones, and they looked beautiful. I then studied my desk, the planner was well marked and there, hey it had a quote written on it, "PROBLEM IS A CHANCE FOR YOU TO DO WELL". It was so very true, only yesterday we did not do well at the presentation, and I shouted at every one for the failure, though after much of cajoling we have got a chance to represent it after a week.

And yes we will definitely do well.

"Adi, you can go now and see to the presentation, I want results this time, read this quote and get motivated"

Adi again nodded and left

This man, he hardly speaks and when he does he stammers, but his work is beyond perfection, he is the best man with accounts, when he talks about accounts he speaks flawlessly, no stammering no nervousness.

Well I should now call my new secretary.

I dialed her extension number, she picked it up.

"Yes, sir"

"Come to my cabin"

"Yes Sir"

"And bring in the files for the meeting scheduled in the first half along with the minutes of last meeting"

"Yes Sir"

She knocked the glass door dividing the cabins, though the partition was of glass but the blinds were drawn restricting the view.

"Come in"

I looked at her, I was surprised to see her dressed in a simple patiyala suit, draped with a chiffon duppatta, I was expecting someone in a office suit, but she looked nice.

She was beautiful, had big hazel eyes emphasized with kohl. She wore big ear rings, a kangan in her one hand and a wrist watch in other, her single plait rested on her left shoulder and two strands of stray hair teased her temples. As she walked towards me I could her slight chiming of her anklets, though the chime was almost soundless but I could hear it.

She looked as if I have known her, she looked so familiar. Even the suit she wore looked familiar and those ear rings, they seemed that I have seen them n number of times at different occasions. Even that soundless chime banged my ears. I have for so many nights in last 5 years imagined hearing this sound.

"Good Morning Sir" her voice broke my thoughts.

I looked at her, "Good Morning"

"I am your new secretary"

"Yes, Sasha told me, you are Ms. Handa"

"Sir, Geet Handa, you can call me Geet"

"Geet, a song; nice name, it goes well with that chiming of your anklets"

"thank you sir"

"Call me Maan, or MK"

"I am comfortable with calling you SIR, sir"

"Well, sir seems good coming from you, though it is impersonal but when you say it, it seems too personal"

"Sorry Sir"

"It's OK, can we start with the discussion?"

"Sir, here is the file"

So we discussed the coming meeting. It seemed that I have talked to her many times. But I shrugged the thought. Me and my imagination.
