Firstly I love this serial simply becoz the chemistry of the two leads...its really great.

Shiv..Iqbal Khan is an excellent actor ...I wonder how his films flopped obviously he didnt choose his films well...I think his calibre is in ranks with the bollywood khans...very intense. Infact I feel he is wasted in this serial...Kaisa yeh pyar hai he had a better and a much suited role for him.. In this he is another soppy hero. I liked him when he was mean.!!!(sorry dont beat me up I love him as much as all of u do but just an opinion ..I'd hate it if he left this serial) KAA wont be the same without him.

Someone once mentioned that Roopa Ganguly is the girl in the foto on the wall. I dont think so. If u seen the initial serials Sugana is none other than Draupadi from Mahabharat and thats Roopa Ganguly. So it definitely seems like ipshita is the girl in the foto.

Thirdly women like Gauri need to have that kundali come true. Rejecting the man who took care of u all those years to sleep on the floor of the bedroom of the man u love!!! Ridiculous if I may say so. Unrealistic. She is a traitor and betrayer. Such woman deserve what fate dishes out to them. In this case Kundalis. 😆😆

Ahaaa, disagree with you on that. I see you mentioned it in a lighter vein...😊 But jus wanted to pitch in my thoughts....😊

But still , as a father Alok, might be concerned about his daughter's life, but is he not bothered about her feelings?

Gauri has only made a choice to stick by what she believes is right for her, she is a kid no more... and she has very well in all fairness , knowing the facts chosen to do what she has... If she loves her father, she loves her husband too...and she has seen soemthing in Shiv for she respects him, as much as she does... for no man gets nothing more or nothing less than he deserves....😊

U right sareeta in one way...(by the way I love ur poems and odes)....I agree with u totally in terms of a wife but as a daughter and I am looking at this thru a sister or a woman's family point of view. If my sister did something like this I would be maddened. I am glad to a get a comment/reply from you.

yeah, i agree with sareeta, and laurumana, it's not like gauri doesn't realize this....she DID go to her dad's house to explain herself to him and to show him the reasons for her decisions and to talk to him, but alok's words just disheartened her....her breaking down into tears shows how much pain her dad's words caused her....so i'd still say that she didn't do anything wrong, she loves her dad as much as she loves shiv....she is right in her point of view and her dad is right in his point of view ...afterall, alok needs to accept his daughter's decision because shiv himself isn't evil...it's only nikhila who's the evil mastermind....The tension between father-daughter are gonna be over once alok realizes how much gauri loves shiv, and how much respect shiv has for gauri. 😊

i agree on a lot of things you said except for the last part

a husband - wife realtioship is the most sacred relationship on this earth
i understand that his father took care of her but why do they forget that Shiv is Gauri's husband now

if i ask my mom right now if she had to choose to live between my dad or my grand parents
well her answer is going to be my dad(her husband obviously)
eventhough her parents took care of her

Gauri cannot live without shiv and it is totally understandable

she cannot live without him and gauri knows that it is not like she didnt try

after seperating she learned about how it is impossible to live without Shiv (actually anybody would go back to shiv😆)

Thank you so much for your kind words!!! You are being very very kind!! I am deeply humbled!😊

I guess, I didnt really explain myself well.... I did put forth only the wifey aspect of it..

But here is my take, as a daughter, Gauri always did what her dad wished for her. for she believed he is right.... Even when he asked her to marry Shiv, did Alok even realize what Gauri was going through before he pushed her to it... and then expected everything to be hunky dory... in her life .....

As a father, Alok hasnt even seen why Gauri had chosen the path she did, he is concerned yes, but did he even ask her , how she felt, the divorce decision was his, not hers.... Gauri signed the papers , only because Shiv had put a finality to it, he had signed them first, not because her father said... Gauri always and still respects her dad... But Alok Ji should not take this too far.... so as to take her decisions for her...he will eventually see it , but sadly now, he feels he has been disrepected by his daughter....

Gauri is not betrayer, for she did like as mentioned by Soha, she did go to her father to explain, but he refused, now even he cant be blamed entirely, for he was upset , cause he felt his intentions were being misunderstood, itsa common cmm gap.. and he refusd to accept her... which is out of anger and nothing else...

Ironically, it is his own sanskaar that he has given his daughter that have made the woman she is, apart from her own goodness and purity... She has chosen despite all , to stand by what she believes and her choices and her aspirations.... Shiv is her all , be all and end all and she choses to stand, her will is so strong that even a man like SHiv does respect her actions, for such an act , as good as this cannot go unnoticed, such pure acts of will, and purity cannot go unrequited...

Sorry rambled on.... ooops!!! 😊

Once a girl marries her life and her priorities do change. Its not that Gauri does not love her father. But she loves Shiv very much. Love makes you do all kind of sacrifices in this world. So I think Gauri is right in her decision. But I would really like to know the rest of this raaz before I decide whether she should remain there.

Looking at it from Alok's point of view, how can a father let his daughter make the decision in her life to give up her life...no parent would allow that...

So I wonder if Shiv told her that he was in love with someone else (not the portrait, the real thing) and wanted to live with her, would Gauri still be able to survive without him...would she go running back to him like she did and just so she can be around him...its not like she is getting Shiv's love...he hasn't accepted that he loves her (which I think does)...I'm sure if this was the case, Gauri would learn to live without Shiv...

Gauri could live without Shiv, but she just doesn't want too...lol, I'm just hating that she's falling back into Nikhila's trap...Gauri knows she is been taken advantage of, and she not doing anything about it...

We know that there is more to this raaz...Gauri does not....she is willing to fight with fate just to be with her husband ...whom she loves...she will not let the kundali predictions separate her from her Shiv...

She did her duty as a daughter by marrying Shiv...but now she is a wife...inlove with her hubby...

Alokji is right in his own way....
Gauri in her own way...
the tension created bet' father and daughter is realistic...
