Friends, I had guests today so I could not see Solhah Singaar properly. I am just mentioning whatever little I managed to see. I am very sorry.
Alaka remembers the younger version of Meera ( a very cute child), after Ammaji drags away Meera from the ashram, and how the child would question her about a lot of things.
The next day everyone is getting ready to go to the temple to witness Alaka's final punishment act (I found it so barbaric). Meera is parying in front of Lord Krishna. Ammaji comes to the prayer room and asks Meera to stay back in the house and that if she stepped out of the house, it would bring more troubles for her, her Mother and also the Bharadwaj House. She puts a kasamh of Lord Krishna on her and bade her to stay back in the house. After Ammaji leaves, Meera breaks down crying. Abhi comes and tells her that he would also not go to the temple. But Meera asks him to go to the temple; at least there would be someone who would feel Alaka's pain. Abhi agrees to go.
Alaka is escorted by Chaubey Maharaj and his battalion of pandits from the widow ashram to the temple and she has to walk the entire way to the temple. Shan is also returning in his car and his car breaks down in a secluded part of a road. He gets down from the car and ups the bonnet to check. At that moment, Alaka crosses that road but they fail to see other.
Back at the House, Meera is pacing impatiently in the hall. Shlok comes and tells her that although she had sent Abhi away to the temple, he will not leave Meera all alone in the house in this hour of need. Meera tells her that her discomfiture doesn't matter cos she is more worried about her Mother. She questions Shlok as to what mistake Alaka had done to deserve such a punishment – after all, Shan Uncle had helped Alaka when she was falling down from the stairs. And now the entire world has turned their faces away from Alaka. Shan had entered the house at that moment and is scandalized to hear everything. 😕
In the temple, Alaka is waiting in front of Lord Shiva's idol, Chaubey Maharaj is busy with the preparations. Ammaji, Ira and Suli arrive at the spot. Abhi had already reached the temple earlier and his glances tells Ammaji that he is not at all happy with the decision. Ammaji tells him that its necessary to preserve one's heritage, culture and tradition (as if our culture is some huge obsolete archaeological masterpiece 😡).
Shan confronts Meera and she tells him everything as to how Alaka had been punished, how Ammaji had given her a kasamh on Lord Krishna and forbade her to leave the house. Shan tells her that he will go to help Alaka but Meera also needs to go with him and as for the promise, it would be opposite if she refuses to help her Mother. Lord Krishna has always stood for justice and to restrict oneself into the house on the basis of a wrong promise, would actually be an insult on the Lord. 😕
