Chapter 14B: dhooriyaan pighalne lagi...
Days move on and Shree had collected so much of information about Suraj…..there were many things which many didn't know about him and which could prove helpful in case he creates problems in the divorce…
Arjun was now confident that there would be no problem in getting it from him and freeing Riya from his clutches forever!

It was a late Saturday evening and ETF had just returned from the case….
Arjun waits for Riya as always……Now, it was an every day routine…..they came and left office together……There were no questions or offering of lifts…..
It had become an informal routine between them! And the team also knew it!

Arjun voices in between their drive, "Riya, kya hum dinner ke liye chale?"
Riya looked to his side…it was the first time in so many days that he had asked her out for dinner……no…in fact it was the first time ever…..She had no reasons to decline it….afterall, she also wanted to get closer to him and reduce the distance between them!
She nodded, "hmm chalthe hai"
He took her to her favorite restaurant….yes he had started knowing all her likes, dislikes and favorites by now…..thanks to the knowledge banks Shree and Chotu!
She had known all his tastes and favorites long time back and now he felt that it was his turn to go through the learning curve……
He knew she loved him more than anything else…..He loved her too with the same intensity but he had to make her comfortable enough with him and he too had to leave behind his past shadows….
Forgetting Roshni was impossible for him and he was never going to attempt it but he wished to welcome Riya happily into his life justifying their relationship to the maximum possible extent……He couldn't see tears or a feeling insecurity in Riya's eyes!
So he was trying all possible ways of getting along with each other in a smooth manner!

They take a corner table which is away from the rush……..they required silence for a calm comfortable evening…
Arjun lets her order the food……She smiles and orders food taking into consideration his choices as well….
They start talking slowly yet casually leaving behind the unsettling feeling and the deafening silence that was becoming odd between them…..and soon they discuss random topics relating to ETF, the cases and also about their future home…
In between the conversation, Arjun places his hand on hers and entwines their fingers together casually……She just looks at him but doesn't pull it back….she blushes and lowers her gaze in response……
They finish the dinner and head back…….
As he nears her place, he speaks up, "kal subah ready rehna…..I am taking you somewhere"
Riya didn't ask where……she just looked at him once and then nodded, "hmmm"
Arjun wondered about her silent nod and enquires, "poochogi nahi ke kahaan jaa rahe hain, huh??"
Riya smiled and replied, "mujhe patha hai…hum ghar jaa rahe hai na?"
Arjunw as amazed by her understanding…..She knew what he had in mind……he smiled back and replied, "haan…..tumhe wahaan jaana tha, right? Isiliye socha ke hum.."
She placed her hands on his which were on the steering and replied, "main jaanthi thi ke aap mere wish zaroor poora karenge…"
They bid bye and part for the day…..

Next morning……they start their drive towards Arjun's house…..a journey to make it their home……
Riya asks him to stop the car near a grocery store and does some shopping much to his surprise….but he doesn't ask anything…he just acknowledges it with a nod and a smile…..
He understands what she was intending to do….They reach the place shortly….
Having parked the car, he comes around and holds her hands and leads her into the place…
They step in together hand in hand….taking the first step together…….
She looks around….it wasn't in that bad condition as she expected it to be….
When she looks at him, he replies, "itne saalon mein aaj pehli baar yahaan aa raha hoom par harr mahina main kisi se yahaan ka saaf safaai karwaatha hoom…..Roshni ka sapna tha yeh ghar…usski aakhri nishaani…iss sapne ko bighadne nahi deh saktha tha…."
She squeezed his hand gently gesturing that she understands his feeling and slowly voices, "ab iss sapne ko yun hi sajaake banaaya rakhna meri responsibility hai"
Arjun nods with a smile and replies, "humaari responsibility Riya…ab humaare beech teri meri nahi hai….sab kuch hum dono ka hai!"
Saying that, Arjun guides her through the house and Riya is amazed by the way Roshni had planned and decorated the entire place……she decides to herself that she would maintain it as it is and would cherish it life long……
There is a big portrait of Roshni in the living room and Arjun stops at that spot and voices out…."yeh tasveer maine usski birthday pe liya tha…..my favorite photo! Isiliye…"
His tone sounded as if he was asking her the permission to retain it there and as if he was feeling guilty for that……She picks a tissue and wipes the photo seeing some dust on it and then remarks, "bohat khoobsurat hai…..tasveer bhi aur aapki Roshni bhi…..isse yahi rehne dijiye…..tasveer ko deewar se ya Roshni ko aapke dil se uthaarne ki koyi zaroorat nahi hai! Dono apne apne jagah pe bilkul perfect hai…..samjhe ya samjhaavum?"
Riya finished with her dimpled smile and Arjun grinned hearing it…..
Then Riya heads to the kitchen……she wished to cook for him today…..so she starts off with a little bit of cleaning first…..
Arjun joins her to help her with the cleaning but protesting the idea of cooking, "Riya, meri baat maan lo….yeh sab rehne dho…..I will order something…."
Riya replied back stubbornly….."nahi…..bilkul nahi….maine already decide karliya hai ke main aap keliye aaj cook karungi…..so be prepared to eat whatever I cook!"
Her cute adamance made him smile…..he was beginning to get back his Riya….the Riya who was known to him years back…..the stubborn, the naughty, the bubbly Riya……What more could he ask for now….
He just teased her a bit in order to make her more comfortable and also to get her to do those silly fights she used to do…..
He smiled and replied mockingly, "ok…mere kismet mein jo likha hai woh bathal toh nahi sakhte….so go on…" and lets a deep sigh
She rolled her eyes understanding his mock and replied, "oh hello…..meri cooking itna bhi bhura nahi hai…..in fact I cook really well…"
Arjun: [grinning] accha……ab yeh toh main decide karunga na tumaare haat ke lunch khaane ke baadh….
Riya showed a funny face to him and turned away from him and in the process, dusted the shelf a little too furiously that the dust from there flew right into her eyes…..and she closed her eyes in discomfort "aaahh…."
He sprinted to her side and held her face in his hands," kya hua?? [understanding what happened, he offers to help] accha…..ek minute…..main teek kardunga…[saying that he opened her eyes wide open much to her protest and started blowing air into it to remove the dust]
The dust was removed but he didn't stop blowing...her eyes had locked him then and there…..
The intensity of his blowing reduced slowly but he cupped her face and held her for a long moment….Once the irritation in her eyes went away, she also looked at him with the same emotions……it was the first time that they were so close to each other almost in each others arms and the emotions were much more than just warmth!
