I think its all because of trp. FW and SONY think if the officer is made to suffer or get phasaofied bcoz of his/her tragic personal life they can get more popularity i.e. more Trp. Most of our cops have a dark past. Why?? They are also human beings... In case of Trio their personal life have been introduced long backs. But new officers don't just require problemetic family life. Cop centric episodes (specially trio) no doubt increase trp but excess of it make viewers lose interest.

I so agree with you. Why can't cops be shown to have peaceful lives? is CID (and not just CID, but all police shows) trying to show that police officers don't have normal lives? I really feel that this is part of the TRP game, however. Whenever TRPs fall bring in the "dark" past of a cop and have the TRPs rise. It's as simple as that.

Totally agreed.
Abhijeet and Daya should be shown married. Also, their wives should be friends to each other like Abhijeet and Daya are.

Abhijeet and Daya should also have little daughters.
It would be fun to see their families...

May be thats because we never give up watching CID and the non-watchers turn to the show only when they have such kind of episode. I am sick of Abhijeet memory loss stories... Cant handle him anymore in that headache and dizziness... 😡😡😡

By Peaceful Famliy life, i did not mean this 😉

What I Mean to say is, they should be happy and content at personal end...
