This reminded me of that night driving scene. Director should be outed for that. Case in point.

I would have Manav driving his car and a collared dog happens to walk into the road. Momentary distraction to avoid him/her because of ChhanChhan causing a head on collision. Then replacement. (Of course, if I think he should be replaced at all.)
