TOI: Jay approached to replace Farhan

While the makers of recently launched Chhanchhan have been vehemently denying any truth to the rumours of replacing male leadFarhan Khan, sources insist the auditions are on full swing.

Apparently, the latest name to have been approached to replace the male lead of the show is of Jay Bhanushali. The actor is currently readying himself to host the upcoming dance reality show, Dance India Dance Supermoms. Incidentally, newbie Farhan has been working hard on himself to fit the bill but has failed to impress the audience. The lead couple played by Sanaya Irani and Farhan have failed to establish any chemistry between them. Hence, the producers are looking out for a suitable face that could replace the original male lead.

Says the source, "Yes, Jay has been approached but there are many others who have been approached, too. Things are yet to materialise. But the channel and the production house are not on the same page as far as the replacement is concerned. While the production house wants to replace the actor, the channel is against the idea."
