as per spoilers momily marriage took place in a church
as far as i know in a church wedding can take place only between christian bride and christian groom
emily is a christian what about mohit
usually if either of them is from other religion , first they get converted into christians and then get married
how is it possible?
and why didnt mohit marry emily as per hindu marriage?
iam in total confusion

Rama, sounds like this is going to be a galatta kalyanam.

What are CVs doing? Ya there has to be a conversion to marry in a church. But here CVs have their own rules. They must be living in their own little world. Dabh-istan.

I just checked here in Philippines which is a Catholic country. They say you are allowed to marry a person from a different religion if the Christian bride or groom take a vow that children born out of marriage will be baptized. As Shruthi pointed out Genelia married Ritesh Deshmukh in a Church and so also Malaika Arora married Arbaaz Khan . Neither Ritesh converted nor Arbaaz Khan. So technically it is allowed. However under the law the marriage is invalid if it is not registered under Special Marriage Act. Unless they register legally Emily is not Mohit's wife whether they marry through Hindu customs or Christian. This is my understanding of the situation.

Ok Uma. Must say I'm surprised with your info. But let's say it's valid for Indian Catholic churches... is Bhabo going to agree to children being Christian? No. So some unnecessary problems here again.

Sandy has really got her plate full trying to sort all this out for years to come.

Even I am not very familiar with Christian laws. I know the Indian laws regarding marriage. Whether this conversion is applicable to Indian Christians it is not known to me. I do not think the CVs will take up this point. They will show the church wedding and that is it. After that Emily will be shown adjusting in a Hindu household. Nuclear family is out as the spoilers say Mohit on their first night rejects Emily for having created a rift between him and his family.

First Night? That's a joke to begin with in MoMli's case. Then Mohit rejects her after marrying her. Wah Wah.

So Uma, tell us, according to your best guess, how will all this pan out? Emily is going to stay at RM by hook or by crook? Sandy the long suffering go-between?

Yes that is what spoilers say. Emily will continue there as she is a classic case of being hopelessly in love. The legal option of arm twisting Mohit is also lost since he has married her. So it will be another case like Sandhya 's a long suffering Bahu. The only Bahu who has all the fun is Meenudi. Neither does she do any work, is given gold for having produced a much coveted pota and is never punished for any of her crimes no matter how serious they are.

Umaji i don think sandy will be blamed for this by bhabho. I don even think that the divorce matter would come out soon in front of bhabho. B4 that ems may clear out all the stuff. One question uma ji why did emily wear such a short dress when she never wore such in the past?

And this time when the pota track reaches its climax meena would suffer a lot. Don worry at all. I still have hope on cv's

yes only christians are allowed to marry in church
either the non christian has to get converted
or they better get married in a registrar office

this is a world wide viewed show, many like alexxa in our own dabhily watches the show with subtitles many would be keenly observing the show. you shouldnt hurt any religion while handling such sensitive issues on television .you have to do sufficient homework before writing the script. if at all they feel they need to compromise in any situation they should not go ahead with this track
