No, you don't need to become a Christian in order to get married in a Catholic (and most of Christian) churches. Some priests only demand the promise to be made that the children will be brought up as Christians (essentially that the non-Cristian party will not protest against it). This is according to the Catholic law. I also know numerous Christian-Hindu couples that got married in the Church and no conversion was required (in Europe).
