last scene of the day: when Gauri cries on the divorce papers.
šš2 tear drops gravitate with a thud on the pristine white sheets, obliterating her jaans signature. Shiv signed the bloody forms with a fountain pen, hence the ink is nonpermanent!!! All was a blur to Gauri as she broke down crying, drowning in her own sorrow (whether for herself or shiv, or them both and their kismat).
whether Gauri now signs the papers or not, the fact remains that they are invalid and won't hold up in a court of law. As gauri's lawyer implied, without shiv's signature they can't proceed. I presume that the signature will become blurred from Gauri's tears. thereby they are still legally married and bound to one another (for eternity we hope - fingers crossed). Even if they file for divorce it will be dismissed, or set back to a later date as Gauri will have to go through all the formalities again.
It's funny also how even being apart they both are in some respect following and upholding the vows they took around the sacred fire, that fateful day. Shiv completing the divorce proceedings for Alok - i.e. from shivs point of view, looking after gauri mann sun man n upmost her safety - better late than never. Gauri in return, complys by 'taking on whatever comes on her husbands path, be it death it self', so she will still be a part of him. the strength of those tears will bring them toghter and reunited their broken hearts, like a soothing balm. and so Gauri will keep her vows to shiv. she won't be letting go that easily.
all we need now is for shiv to have some sort of miraculous epiphany!
NB: this is jus for fun..... when gauri got given the papers she should have been handed a magic marker to rub out the signature...you know one of those wipe out, invisible pens that erase blue ink!!š što which gauri would say "try again suckers!!! u won't get rid of me that easily!!! not in this lifetime , definetly not over my dead body!!!"šš
PS: just a bit of a laughš.....pls don't take seriouslyš”. if a affended anyone i apologiseš
