No one likes to wait, do they? It was quite evident from Asad's face today, that he was not a very happy man when Zoya made him wait in front of all the guests today. To add injury to insult, their constant taunts about his NRI bahu following IST didn't go down very well with him.
Today, we got another insight into Asad's personality. Not only doesn't he like to wait, he is quite conscious about what people think and say about him and his family. While last week, he gloated at all the praise showered on Zoya, today, their taunts mad him uncomfortable and more conscious about his differences with Ms Farooqui. His comment- modern chand- was a mix of sarcasm and awareness that even though he considers her beautiful-a chaand-she is still very different from the image of a perfect wife. If it were not for Dilshaad, Asad could have walked out from the ceremony today. Dilshaad, after hearing Zoya's explanation came to her rescue. She is a gem of a mother in law and the only one who thinks progressively in their household.
While an impatient Asad did not savor waiting for Zoya, Zoya asked him a very pertinent question.
"Aur aap kyun mere sawaalon ka jawaab nahin dete hain?"
Zoya has been patient, has been waiting for an answer to her questions for a while, but he has not obliged. While Asad wanted his answer about the delay, isn't she entitled to get an answer from him? How long can she play this waiting game patiently?
After a long wait, Ayaan made his reappearance on the show. It was indeed a dramatic entry with possible foreshadowing of the future track.
Ayaan held Zoya for a few seconds and then dropped her- he will get drawn to her but once he realizes the truth (that she belongs to someone else), he will stop looking at her with those intentions.
Ayaan, like most people, misunderstood Asad and Zoya's intentions behind the nikaah. Like Tanveer, he is going by their words, not their feelings or actions. Najma and Dilshaad are aware of the truth, but Ayaan is still an outsider to AsYa's relationship. Yes, he will misunderstand them and possibly help them 'break' that nikaah initially but because Ayaan is not Tanveer and has always wanted the best for his brother, will eventually realize what the truth is. That means, one day he will help AsYa unite but not before creating a misunderstanding.
Ayaan's statement- bhaag jaayegi nikaah se- could also foreshadow a major twist at the nikaah. Will Zoya leave the nikaah but just like she eventually reached the Jashne bahar ceremony, albeit late, come back – perhaps this time with Ayaan's help?
Humeira's wait came to an end at last. Poor girl has been anxiously waiting for Ayaan since she recovered from the poisoning. While we are all worried about a possible Ayaan-Asad-Zoya triangle, why do we forget that Humeira is equally important in this matrix? She has waited the longest. Since childhood, she has worshipped Ayaan and now that her destination is so close, why does it seem so far?
They say "intezaar ka phla meetha hota hai"
We will all have to be equally patient. As patient, as Zoya and Humeira have been and will continue to be. Will they both get their love soon or will they have to wait even longer?
We have all waited patiently for Tanveer's evil game to end. Hopefully, her end is in sight. She will stab herself tomorrow- apne pairon par kulhadi maar rahi hai wo. As viewers, we deserve at least a respite from her evil games. We can't wait any longer.
I expect major twists leading to the nikaah.
Will nikaah happen? I still think it will but after a lot of intezaar and patience.
