What might Manav do?

Manav is right now in dilemma. He can't have both people he loves in his life. He has to choose one. He can't disobey his mom and he can't live Chann Chann. If he marries someone else the purpose of the show is defeated. i think Manav will become very depressed and aloaf that his mom will show concern. He might even try to commit suicide.

Once Manav knows the reason for his mother's wishes he will somehow put her in a situation where she will have to accept Chhanchhan as his wife. There will be hit or miss situations created for Umaben.
