Mumbai, May 8: Ram Kapoor, is the biggest television star at present, but there was a time when he was insecure. He did not have the creative freedom which he has got now. He can do anything and everything these days, no one tells him what he should do and what he should not! He says right now there are a couple of talented people in the industry who have been struggling, and compared to them, he indeed feels himself to be lucky.

Television has been very kind to him and given him chance to do bigger stints in films. Ram Kapoor even did a four years course at the Stanislavski Acting Academy which is in US which made him to be confident about himself. But all these years when he was not getting good offers, his beloved wife Gautami was always present beside him and had the utmost trust and confidence in his abilities.

Talking about his relationship with his father, Ram says his father being in the corporate sector never encouraged his son to do acting. And so when Ram decided to go for acting course in US, he did not even discuss that with his parents. However, today the father and the son are close friends.
