Part 4
"What does she think of herself? Damn why am I even thinking about her?" Maan was frustrated beyond limits. A part of him was so enraged and furious to watch Geet hugging that random guy.
He so much wanted to rush back and punch the hell out of that guy for hugging her that too infront of him, shake the soul out of her that how could he allow that man to touch her.
Maanaa ki I broke our engagement!
Maanaa ke I hurt her feelings by buying her company but how could she? How could she have no faith on my love! No trust... And thats when he trailed off remembering few hazy blurred images of the past nights... Ms.Shadow... Oh no! He cursed under his breath!
Geet what have you done to me! He screamed.
Only Anger and Jealousy and then regret was coursing through his veins almost forgetting the fact that He considered her as his Enemy.
He was so lost in his thoughts that he couldn't see the speeding truck approaching his car.
Just as he was a feet away from the truck his phone rang breaking his trance.
On viewing the truck approaching him he panicked as he moved the steering all of a sudden. The car turned in a blink of an eye just missing the collision by inches.
But the car struck a tree nearby ,breaking its headlights and smashing its front part.
Maan was safe with few minor cuts. He heaved a sigh of relief. He saw the phone still ringing. It flashed 'Lawyer'
He picked up the call.
" Hellooo Sirrr!" A shrill voice entered Maan's ear. He was already frustrated and now this lawyer was irritating him.
"What is it?" He barked.
"Sirrr its me Phugle, Lawyer Phugle M.A.L.L.B Sirrr" He squeaked hearing Maan's scary voice.
'As if I don't know'
"Hmmm What happened?" He calmed down.
"Woh Madam Geet... Yahan... Woh..." He spoke ever so slowly but Maan cut him off, "I am coming!" He cut the call and stormed off to the Lawyer's office.
**** Vicky didnt reveal to Geet that the buyer was Maan.
He didnt want to trouble Geet more.
" Geet I need to leave now!" He wanted to leave soon so that he could put his plan into action. Geet nodded hiding her tears. Vicky left.
Just then her assistant , Sanya arrived holding few files, all panting.
"How did all this happen?" She asked wiping her tears.
"Woh Ma'm... Woh koi lawyer aaya tha...KC se...subah...company khali karne ke liye kehke chala gaya..." Sanya stuttered and informed her.
"Who is that Lawyer?" "Ma'm I dont know!" She said meekly.
"Wait a sec did you say Khuranas?" She was seething with anger and gritting her teeth as Sanya nodded.
"Phugle!"Geet muttered under her breath as she walked off.
****Geet was pacing around in Phugle's Office. She had given him a nice piece of her mind. Still she wasnt satisfied.
"Pata nai where this idiot fled off! How could they just think of auctioning off HC!" She was too much angry, frustrated and heart-broken. All the yearnings of these months away from him came out in form anger on poor Lawyer Phugle.
She huffed as she felt weak. It then occured to her that she didnt even have a single drop of water since morning.
"I will see him! First let me have something" She thought looking into her purse.
She entered the lift as she felt restless although she didnt know why did she feel that familiar feel that she felt few nights back whenever He came... She didnt want to trod on that way further. Shrugging off her thoughts she looked at the signal 'ground floor'.
Just as she was about to step out he stepped inside the lift checking his mobile pushing her inside as well.
"You..." She was already on the verge of her outburst when the door closed.
Their each moment of togetherness flashed infront of their eyes as his eyes bored into hers. He stood there staring into her eyes losing himself in the whirlpool of her misery , inching closer to hers. She stepped back still undaunted by his intense eyes, looking right back into them speaking a tale of their own.
They stood there lost in their own world complaining to each other silently, how much they missed each other, their togetherness. His lips inched closer to hers. Her lips quivered more due to her weakness and his close proximity.
After so many days, he was seeing her face to face. His feelings were out of control. He felt so much calm and contended after seeing her safe and alive.
His heart ached to see her weak petite form struggling to even stand with her brimming tears. He was drawn to her like a moth to a flame. He didnt even realize when the lift door closed. She stood there numb with his advances until his warm lips touched hers. As if new life filled her soul she wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her closer by her waist.
There wasn't even an inch gap for air to pass.
She simply lost herself to him as if recognizing accepting the touch...his touch. As if she got a face to that unknown touch which has been haunting her since so many days. The touch that was forbidden yet she had already accepted it whole-heartedly without any complain without any reason.
He flung his right hand under her butt pulling her up along his body as her legs complied by wrapping them around his waist.
The kiss turned into a hot anger filled passionate lip-lock entrapping both of them in a dream like trance which none wanted to break. It was as if they wanted to cling to each other like that forever.
It was only when he felt that she was suffocating that he released. She rested her forehead on his , their noses touching, lips shivering with the aftermath of their passion. He sighed slowly releasing her sliding her body along his in a very excruciatingly slow speed as her every feminine part touched his body , making sure she felt the desperate need coursing through his veins.
They didnt even realize when the door opened. His bodyguards stood there gawking at them watching the new side of their otherwise strict boss. They had a faint idea about his fiancee but never heard about her since Maan broke the engagement and they dare not question about it fearing his wrath.
Only when her feet touched the ground that she realized her condition.
'How could she be so vulnerable! That too infront of him!' She cursed herself.
He had his eyes closed when she felt a sting on his right cheek. He opened his eyes as they flared with anger and fury.
"How dare you?" She screamed at him. She pushed him as he clenched his fist.
"How could you Maan?" It was more of questioning how could he even think of auctioning of HC. He was about to hold her back but stopped looking at the intensity in her eyes. She walked off pushing him off as his bodyguards made way for her.
He closed his eyes, gritting his teeth, calming himself. He cleared his throat,
"Ahem Ahem Wait for me outside the office. I will be back in an hour after the meeting with the lawyer!" He ordered his bodyguards who were staring at him as if he was an alien. He looked at them clearly irritated barked,
"What?" His bodyguards nodded in a no fearing his wrath.
"Is that clear?" He asked with his intimidating stare.
"Yes Sir" They nodded as he walked off.
**** "How dare you even think of auctioning off HC?" She screamed on the table scaring the poor lawyer, thumping her hand as Maan entered the cabin.
"Sirrr! Woh Geet Mam" He squeaked in a low voice.
Maan spoke with a determined face,
" Ms.Handa its my final decision, HC has to be auct..." She cut him off screaming,
"Dare you utter it Mr.Khurana!" She bit out gritting her teeth, grabbing his collar and shaking him. He stood stiff with unwavered emotions though his insides were coiling with her close proximity.
He pulled her hands off his collar forcefully, spoke almost growling
"Ms.Handa screaming wont change my decision!" He said with his intimidating glare. She moved back.
"But you cant just sell HC like that!" She smoke almost pleading. She almost joined her hands pleading him with a silent plea in her eyes,
It's my Papa's dream Maan! Maan turned around ignoring her. He couldnt bear to see her like that.
"That Mr.Handa should have thought before signing his will, that is HC in my name!" Maan smirked.
Geet stood there numb almost motionless. She just dropped down on the chair as all hell broke loose. Maan almost lunged towards her to cuddle her up in his arms but controlled himself.
Phugle stood there as a silent spectator watching the whole exchange between the two confused souls who are so much in love with each other inspite of their fake hatred.
"But..."He trailed off walking towards the lawyer's chair as Phugle stepped aside. Geet rose her head up in a sudden movement as if she got a light ray of hope. He sat on the chair resting his legs on the table.
"If you abide by few of my conditions I may think of not doing so!"He smirked.
"If that means HC can be safe then I will follow all your conditions!" She agreed without any hesitation, without any fuss.
"First hear my conditions, you may not be able to ful..." She cut him off,
" I will do it to save HC!" Papa's dream! She whispered at last!
He did her whisper at last but preferred to pretend otherwise.
"Think again Miss.Handa! Once you sign the contract and agree to it you cannot back out!" He bored his eyes into hers. They had such a sincerity , such a plead that she dare not ignore.
"I agree to all your conditions! She spoke staring right into his eyes. His eyes roamed all over her body as if checking her out naked and she didnt even feel an ounce of disgust.
He is trying to scare me! She smirked.
" Mr.Khurana someone has taught me to surpass that stage at least!" She taunted. There was a flash of guilt in his eyes but it vanished as soon as it came.
"Fine then , you will be working as my secretary for two years if you want to stop HC from getting auctioned off!" He gave a stern smile.
She stood there stunned there for a moment but then nodded slowly,
"I will" She looked at him painfully. His heart ached seeing that look so he turned away.
Phugle stood there dumbstruck at the twist and turn of the events.
"Mr.Phugle prepare the contract papers!" He ordered and walked off.
She dropped down , tears cascading down her cheeks, flowing endlessly.
He walked back even before Phugle moved a bit.
"And send them to Ms.Handa's residence as soon as possible" He looked towards her crying form,
"And ensure that she signs it , Phugle!" He threw a scary glare at Phugle and walked away.
'How much has my Maan changed? All because of me!'She broke down.
