They say that the most incurable of all bugs is the 'shaq ka keeda.' Planting the seeds of doubt in someone's mind can result in two outcomes. Either the plant dies before it takes root or it blooms with the roots of doubt taking a permanent hold on one's vulnerable mind.
Tanveer: Since Dilshaad's announcement of getting Asad wed within 10 days, Tanveer has been busy planting the seeds of doubt in everyone's mind. She has done everything in her sweetest way to convince Dilshaad and Asad to reconsider their decision about getting married to Zoya. Fortunately, Dilshaad is a woman with strong convictions and has a lot of faith in her judgment and perception of people. Even today, after a few pre wedding ceremonies have been done, Tanveer couldn't sway Dilshaad's decision. Dilshaad, the gracious woman that she is, did give Tanveer a chance to voice her opinion. She even went back to Asad to confront him directly. While Tanveer couldn't plant a seed in Dilshaad's mind, she has definitely stirred something in Asad's mind. Asad, who doubts himself more than he doubts his decision, was put on the spot by Tanveer's remarks. Even though he stated the obvious differences between Zoya and himself, he never replied to the question,"kya tum Zoya ko pasand nahin karte?" This shows, while Asad might doubt his decision about Zoya being the right girl for marriage, he cannot doubt the fact that he does indeed like or rather love her. He did not lie, just dodged the question. The scene that he recalled was interestingly the meteor shower- does that mean he has also accepted her as his destiny but is hesitant to accept it openly?
Dilshaad made a very important statement: aap kisi ka nikaah zabardasti tho kar sakte ho,lekin uske dil mein zabardasti apni jagah nahin banaa sakte. Aur, Zoya ne Asad ke dil mein apni jagah banaa li hai.
This is the ultimate truth. No matter how many weeds of doubt Tanveer tries to plant in the mother and son's mind, she cannot erase this truth from their hearts. This is the biggest reason why Tanveer's plans will fail.
Zoya: Zoya, a simple girl at heart never wishes ill n anyone. Because she is a gem of a person, she assumes everyone else is a good person too. That's why, despite getting so many hints against Tanveer, she is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. A girl like Zoya can't even imagine that someone could be as evil as Tanveer. Poor Zoya, ends up doubting herself whenever something goes wrong, more so because of Asad's harsh words. Asad never minces his words and is the first one to point fingers at Zoya whenever something goes wrong. Even today, Zoya was not angry at Asad for blaming her; she was trying to prove her innocence so Asad wouldn't doubt her. If Zoya was more worldly wise or had an iota of a cunning gene in her, she would have put two and two together by now. DB's statement, the electric wire fiasco, the fish fainting episode, the hospital episode and now the blood sample mix up are glaring at her. She knows something is fishy, maybe Tanveer is onto something, but even in her wildest dreams she wouldn't doubt the gravity of Tanveer's shenanigans.
Badi B/ Razia: Badi B is playing a game here. We don't know how and what she is planning next. She has started planting a seed of doubt in Razia's mind for sure. Razia has lost confidence in herself. Even though she wants to retaliate, Badi B has shaken her up quite a bit. That says a lot. Hope Badi B continues to rattle this snake to the point that Razia forgets how to plant evil seeds in other people's minds. Badi B's next target is Humeira. Today, the jewelry fiasco has planted a seed of doubt in Humeira's mind. Will Badi B succeed in alienating daughter from mother? Let's see how it all plays.
I understand today's episode was a not as intense or interesting, but I think they are laying the foundation for the volcano to erupt- yes something big will definitely happen in the coming weeks. Hope Asad will stop doubting himself and Zoya forever. Hope he will see the real face of Tanveer. Hope Dilshaad's conviction in her decision will prove right. Hope Humeira will find out the truth about her ammi.
