Thank u Anshi di for the thread. I watched PR because of its promo. I thought it will be a typical show with lots of tears. Ya I was partially right. It had a lot of tears but had a different touch. And Anki's acting made it more special. Her each and every portrayal of emotion touched me. I remember I cried with her when Manav was getting engaged with Shravani and she was watching and crying. Really no one can take her place. She is she.

As I have told on the forum a few times before also, I fell for the show for two reasons: 1.) The concept of the show, which was shown in the trailer 2.) The song 'Dreams of Fire' from Slumdog millionaire which was used so beautifully in that trailer.
I like love stories which show love as strength which sweetens the life of individuals and like the concept of soulmates as people who help each other in every step of life and help you grow. PR seemed to be such a story from the first trailer and I liked it. I started watching the show from the 2nd episode where I liked the character of Archana, and fell in love with Manav, who was introduced in the end of the episode. Did not fall for Archana or Manav's looks that much but later started noticing how handsome and cute Sushant was and how absolutely gorgeous Anki was. The story of the show worsened slowly, following the typical Ekta trend, but Sushant and Ankita made a place in my heart.

I am really glad that I watched PR- cos of them I got acquainted with the characters of Manav and Archana who will always be my favourites, for Ankita and Sushant of whom I am today a proud fan, and most of all for this forum where I made some really good friends and learned so much. Thank you Ekta for this once-upon-a-time wonderful show called Pavitra Rishta, which I think has absolutely, completely, ekdum ended for many people now thanks to the exit of Ankita ie our Archana. We wish the new Archana ie Gautami luck, but for those who have watched the show since the beginning, there can be only one Archana and Manav.

I just hope and pray now that both Sushant and Ankita do well in their lives outside Pavitra Rishta. Sushant has already taken off well, now I am keeping y fingers crossed for Ankita. Both of them always loved PR and were devoted to the show, I am happy both of them quit the show on pleasant terms with Ekta and the rest of the cast.

Well never knew it was a BT show. Like many ppl I was also attracted by promo with the song "asman mein jab tak sitare rahega.," and cute Archana manav. I knew Sushant before as he did kis desh. But Anki was new to me. I found her so sweet. I loved her portrayal of a simple middle class girl, a dutiful daughter and a caring sister. Her bond with her family really touched my heart. But I got hooked to the show after that historical Umbrella exchanging scene. Loved her more in emotional scenes. She has a power to make viewers cry with her. The way she went to Garage to give Manav food was so lovely. I cried when Archu had miscarriage. Her portrayal of a devastated mother who lost her unborn baby was Superb! The lake side hug was another fab work of her. Her facial expression told all. How happy she was with her Manav. And her cute moments with baby Soham and Sachu was so adorable.
Guys words are simply not enough to describe her talent. She gave a new dimension of acting in television industry. She was,is and will always be Archu for us.

Nice write -up Anshi!

Every beginning is an end for something and with the ending of PR, Ankita will have a fresh new beginning to do something better.
