As for participating in a real-life sangeet ceremony it's going to be a first time for her! The actress, who will be tying the knot with Sanjot Vaidya in early February 2007, says, "Sanjot will be hosting it at his place. We will have the haldi-mehendi and sangeet ceremonies a day before the wedding. I am excited but nervous as well. The only comforting thing is that Sanjot will be there to give me company. Song and dance routines are also fun to watch." Surprise act Sources close to the actress reveal that she is planning to surprise her beau with a solo performance. Reacting to this, she says, "At the moment nothing has been planned. But it's natural to have people singing and dancing at a ceremony like this!" Still hunting for her reception outfit, Rajshri has now delegated the 'task' to Sanjot. "He has picked up something, but I still haven't had the time to see it." Will she be inviting her Saath Phere co-stars for the wedding? "Of course! In fact, there's a joke between Sharad (Kelkar) and me where he keeps threatening to bunk my wedding if I don't attend his parties. So I have to make sure I don't upset him!" Talking about her bond with Sharad's wife Keerti, she says, "I know her from the days since she was doing Kamal. Sharad became a friend only when they got married." Filmi chakkar Few know that prior to Saath Phere, Rajshri had also done a film called Havaa Aane De directed by Partho Sengupta, which is still awaiting a theatrical release. Says Rajshri, "It's an intense film that tackles issues like urban reality and the trials and tribulations of the middle class. I play the lead and the film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war. I have no clue what's happening with the film's release though." |
