Today's episode was breathtaking for all AsYa lovers. MA! MA! That's would Zoya would have said.
Dilshaad should definitely get the mom and mom-in-law of the year award. It's credit to the PH that they have portrayed two mothers with equally beautiful children but such contrasting ways of understanding and dealing with them.
Razia: A selfish mother, who is using her own daughter for some unknown gain (we really don't know why she is hell bent on getting her married to Ayaan unless Ayaan is going to inherit a large sum of predetermined money). A mother-in-law to be, who has blackmailed a man into marrying her daughter, again for her own selfish reason.
Dilshaad: A woman who knows her children come first, before any selfish need of hers. Their happiness is her biggest source of happiness. Just like us, she has been a silent observer of the Asad-Zoya bond since Zoya moved into their house as a guest. Once she realized that both Asad and Zoya had feelings for each other, she has made sure that the two of them be bonded for life even if that meant a little bit of arm twisting. She knows her son is stubborn and Zoya is an innocent child at heart. How could she go wrong with this alliance? My only grudge with her is that she still hasn't called aapi-jiju. That's her job and not Zoya's.
Loved, loved, loved the Dilshaad-Zoya scene. That was much needed. Loved the way she teased Zoya about becoming her bahu and how she would be her authoritative mother in law. Dilshaad has always been a mother figure for Zoya and I am glad Zoya expressed those feelings to her. Zoya, a woman who can lie for the truth, was at crossroads today. How she wanted to tell her phoophi about this 'nakli nikaah' tamasha that Asad has been trying to convince her of. Dilshaad didn't give her an opportunity. Poor Zoya must carry this guilt along with her because Asad is so unpredictable.
Asad mian was totally bowled over today. Thank God he kept quiet for most of the episode today because his eyes and body language communicated a lot more to Zoya, the guests and ammi. Loved the way Zoya teased him with her eyes while walking towards the seats reserved for the couple. She knew he was mesmerized and Zoya didn't hesitate to give him that slightly seductive glance.
Loved the old khaala at the ceremony. Today, a number of guests showered them with so many blessings. Do we still think Shireen's one bad dua will be strong enough to overpower so many good wishes? Good wishes go a long way and that's why I am optimistic that if not in 10 days, Asad and Zoya will get married for sure.
Asad and Zoya's eyelocks and their silent communication was the highlight of the episode for me. They looked ethereal and very much in love. Asad will have to be a fool to deny his heart this 'chaand ka tukda.'
Tanveer's saugat will definitely big a big one. We know she is desperate but hopefully, this saugat will be the undoing of this evil-hearted person.
I am keeping my fingers crossed on the blood sample. Zoya has succeeded in drawing the blood; let's hope it gets to the right clinic or lab. It seems like the sample is sitting with all the other gifts. This might be the best gift for Zoya and Asad- the unveiling of Tanveer the tehzeeb yafta!
Symbolisms:
1. 1. As I mentioned above, Tanveer's saugat will be the biggest gift for Asad and Zoya- it will result in their nikaah. Of course, Tanveer thinks her saugat will hurt or harm Zoya but on the contrary, I think it will unite them in matrimony.
2. 2. The blood sample sitting with the other gifts is also the first saugat from Tanveer. Let's hope it does the trick.
3. 3. Now that the whole world knows about Asad and Zoya's engagement, how are they planning to break this alliance and having Tanveer and Ayaan tracks with Asada and Zoya?
4. 4.Ammi is the biggest proponent of true love in this serial. Despite being separated from Rashid, she has never stopped loving him, nor has she remarried anyone else (even if she was divorced I don't think she would) So, how does anyone convince her to break Asya? She knows they are in love- true love. Trust Dilshaad everyone'at least I do.
5. Ammi adjusting Zoya's dupatta...another clue that Ammi will help Zoya get to her manzil.
