What is more contemptible?

I am a bit new to the KAA forum. Hope you won't mind this poll.

I was disgusted with the whole karnama yesterday. Could not quite figure what is more contemptible. Educated enlightened people believing in kundalis? Or deliberately trapping a girl of a close family into marriage with the express purpose of ensuring her death (as per their belief system)?

Would like to hear your views. Hope Kektaa mayee takes this opportunity to show that astrology is basically bunkum, far too many serials these days promote superstition and irratioanlity unlike the good old days of DD when there were good programmes debunking such superstitions. Far more noble to be promoting rationality than promote adultery/incest/illegitimacy/wickedness.

Trust you to raise such a thought provoking question, and here are my thoughts... Much as I wanna say, that educated people believing in kundalis is more contemptible, I see the act of using one's beliefs and playing with those beliefs for a very selfish reason... based on tehir belief system is highly disgusting and totally contemptible....
Yes it was indeed sad to watch the episode, where a girl was tricked using her own beliefs against her...into a marriage... reducing her to a mere scape goat...
If one has his beliefs, so should one respect the beliefs of the other and using them for their own purprose, to satisfy themselves , and put to rest their insecurities based on their belief system is a repulsive thought...
