I think it is telling that they have cast a boyish, lanky guy to play Ayaan twice! First with Rishabh and now with Vikrant. In fact the possibility of ZoYaan was higher with Rishabh but with this guy I just can't see it. Kinna like how Nisha as Tanveer was a genuine fear whereas Amrapali isnt.

Sangeeta: upon your suggestion, I tried watching Dil mil gaye but I didnt like that KSG. (well to be fair, I just watched the first episode and then stopped). He looked like a kid - well, he would have been! The show is quite old, na?

I prefer the bearded KSG - or maybe thats a reflection of the age group I fall in as well! 😆

Oh, I tried to watch DMG and disliked it immensely. The acting on the show (including KSG) was OTT but he is just wonderful as Asad! 😃

If not a full on beard at least give him a stubble! 😳

I never watched all the episodes of DMG until Jen came to the serial. KSG was indeed a boy in that serial. His character was very loveable and he did portray an array of his acting skills in that show. The only reason I watched DMG was for armaan and then later with Jen, he had great on screen and off screen chemistry.

But as Asad, he def looks more dashing with the stubble. This character is totally different from armaan. KSG looks like Asad here and was armaan in DMG...kinda like Amir khan and his movies. He plays the character rather than the actor.

But, yes in DMG everything was OTT. Although it had some of the best romantic scenes

I never got very far with that show. But I am sure KSG was great...coz the man can act!!! I hear you on his acting style. You almost forget that Asad is a character and not a person because the emotions and mannerisms are portrayed so realistically.
