And the looks on their faces said it all.. No matter, what they say, and what we see.. Even in this tumultuous times, and with RK's trust issues.. There is trust involved in this relationship..
RK told the entire world, rather rudely that he doesn't love her.. But she didnt go by his word.. And deep in her heart continued to trust his love..

furthermore, RK while the revenge track was confident that she won't be able to move on.. And she didnt.. Regardless of what he presumed, but still somewhere deep in his heart his trust was not shaken,,What RK saw was enough to convince him that there is lot going on between Madhu n bhai..

2 sleepovers, other encounters, Holi, the direct encounter.. If I was not an audience, I wouldn't believe Madhu.. And I have a habit if trusting people blindly..

I am not sure if I made sense to u guys But all I wanted to say that their relationship is totally messed up.. But still deep down the basic emotions are strong..
Sadly this is not enough.. They need to bring all these elements of love, respect, trust, faith and make it more palpable in their relationship..

It is the fact that she resolutely tried to move on & rebuild her life that is in part responsible for RK getting more messed up in his head & wanting to undo the past😆 They are equals & that is where the attraction lies.
You're so right about the basic emotions still being strong. Trust is a child-like emotion, basic & simple to give yet once broken remarkably difficult to re-establish. To Madhu, overtly she's playing a game but we the audience are the lucky ones to "know" the real story, just as we knew how RK would burn up with alien-ly remorseful emotions after he un-married madhu😉

I absolutely agree that the layers b/w these characters are so much fun to watch as they are unraveled gradually...and I also hope the writers keep true to the soul of the characters rather than FORCING in so called "golden hearted" characters🥱

This is a story about these two MAD ppl...if anyone has any illusions of SANITY from either of them, they need only watch today's epi...lol...and if either of them was packed off to a "sane" person, it would be a total waste of a storyline.

Gawd yes, there is nothing to the show if it weren't for RK's warped personality & his bizarre dialogues which at times I find faintly on the lines of the roguish Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights, add to it the equally warped pairing of him & Madhu & you've got a show that can actually hold your attention for the duration of an entire episode😆
Waise toh there are enough regular lubh stories all over to choose from, hope they let this one run on it's chosen 'teda' path.
I suppose the "golden hearted" don will play a part in Madhu's future, but I rest easy with the knowledge that Haji Mastan (read sultan of MB) never got the Madhubala that he so coveted, she got married to Kishore Kumar & the rest is history😉😆

lol I love how you put that..."A show that manages to actually hold your attention for the duration of an entire episode"...haha...so very true about how RARE that is on TV.

Yeah RK deffo has Heathcliff tones to his characters...yesterday's scene proves it even more...with the "If you dare let go of my hand, I'll kill you" line😆

Yeah I also like the tedhapan to this love story that sets it apart from the usual stuff...and hoping it runs that course only.

LOL let's see how the "Haji Mastan" of this show manages to fare...as far as I know Haji Mastan wasn't known for giving lessons on how to put a cushion cover on a cushion😕😕😆

Perhaps you would like to "rationalise" and romanticize this into your post? I am very intrigued as to how.

Trust is akin to taking a risk, in the absence of infallible proof trust assumes that truth & honor & all things good will prevail. It is a wonderful gift to have another person place their trust in you.

The same RK that nurtured Madhu's trust in him slowly & then in one sweeping blow crushed it to a cinder, is today yearning to trust in Madhu's love for him. Preposterous & cliched was the challenge that he put in front of her. Madhu's only conscious goal is to win RK's trust but in accepting his challenge she unwittingly ends up proving her inexhaustible trust in him.
Oh Madhu! You have become a part of your own web of deceit & you aren't even aware of it!
Shocked as you were, you knew beyond a doubt that your RK would not let you fall to your death. You let yourself fall off the ledge fully expecting him to pull you back into his arms.
Despite your fragile state & vulnerability, your trust in RK is still resilient enough to recognize & see through his imperfections to the goodness that lies beneath.
Yes, Madhu thinks she won today, after her crazed act RK will not doubt her again, but the real victory belongs to the writers who have through Madhu's actions convinced the viewers of where Madhu's heart really lies. 'I trust you' is what RK will feel now, but ironically isn't that exactly what Madhu implied when she looked into his eyes & stepped off the ledge'.

Little wonder that it has been said that the best proof of love is trust😉

@ red
Haji Mastan also never fired a gun or killed anyone in his life! 😉😆
Nor was he friends with the real Madhubala let alone the kind of trusting and unspoken understanding the cvs are already showing between sultan and madhu. He liked how madhubala looked and he married a woman who resembled her physically.

Haji Mastan is an inspiration...sultan isn't a carbon copy. Reality is...even if originally cvs MAY not have wanted to show anything deeper than insaaniyat between sultan and madhu, but NOW, considering how they set the screen on fire without there even being any romance between them, there is definitely going to be something a LOT deeper!

Hey, no need to explain, you like Sultan, I guess some others do too, I don't, *shrugs*. I'm not saying he isn't good-looking, he is, but he has no place in the story of MB that I wish to see. If I wanted to watch a muscle-bound, dark, brooding guy with a sob story throw dead-pan looks at the heroine, I only need to change channels randomly & I'm bound to hit upon any number of them😆

I'm not saying I approve of what RK's done & I'm fully aware of his mean & deranged nature but he intrigues me, I want to wait & see where this leads, can't say the same of the card-board cut-out don, but hey, one man's poison is another man's cake😉

As for Haji Mastan, I was mainly referring to whats been said elsewhere on the forum, never been inclined to dig deep into the life of any don, even "good hearted" ones, be it Haji Mastan, Abu Salim or whatever.

I had to go back & check this out, usually skip the don scenes, especially those where he exhibits his sad single-parenting skills or the lack thereoff😆

On a side note...all this gangsta talk got me thinking... ever wonder why these dons seem to get attracted to the letter 'M'? Mandakini, Monica Bedi... Madhubala😛😆 Heaven forbid, hope it doesn't boil down to that😆
