I trust you!!

Trust is akin to taking a risk, in the absence of infallible proof trust assumes that truth & honor & all things good will prevail. It is a wonderful gift to have another person place their trust in you.

The same RK that nurtured Madhu's trust in him slowly & then in one sweeping blow crushed it to a cinder, is today yearning to trust in Madhu's love for him. Preposterous & cliched was the challenge that he put in front of her. Madhu's only conscious goal is to win RK's trust but in accepting his challenge she unwittingly ends up proving her inexhaustible trust in him.
Oh Madhu! You have become a part of your own web of deceit & you aren't even aware of it!
Shocked as you were, you knew beyond a doubt that your RK would not let you fall to your death. You let yourself fall off the ledge fully expecting him to pull you back into his arms.
Despite your fragile state & vulnerability, your trust in RK is still resilient enough to recognize & see through his imperfections to the goodness that lies beneath.
Yes, Madhu thinks she won today, after her crazed act RK will not doubt her again, but the real victory belongs to the writers who have through Madhu's actions convinced the viewers of where Madhu's heart really lies. 'I trust you' is what RK will feel now, but ironically isn't that exactly what Madhu implied when she looked into his eyes & stepped off the ledge….

Little wonder that it has been said that the best proof of love is trust😉

There is this old saying 'Will you jump into a well if I asked you to ?" , its often used to convey practicality and sense in today's world , have always felt there is an unasked question that follows it, that's unheard 'Do you trust me enough to not let you fall?'.

That's just it Chits, unbeknownst to herself, she has shown full faith in him. She was confident in the knowledge that he will not let her fall. Isn't that a beautiful thing, that despite all this junoon & prem games she hasn't been able to shake off her basic trust in him, All we need is for RK to recognize & honor her vulnerability, but that's asking for too much, considering the gansta clouds looming overhead😆

Exactly...what neither of them realize is that Madhu in the midst of all the suspicions and distrust and shattered trust b/w them has managed to display unflinching trust in the fact that he'd catch her...she KNEW he'd catch her and wouldn't let her fall...she has that faith in him even if he's shattered her in other ways.

She has always responded to something in RK that he himself doesn't fully recognize...

That is why the complexity b/w these two characters is so interesting and operating on so many levels...makes for engrossing viewing.

brilliant post; i was thinking the exact same thing while she was going to the edge, she completely trusted things to be okay because he was there by her side. I'm still scoffing at the idiots who were dismissing her love and saying "she jumped because she doesn't care about living anymore" stupidest joke I've ever heard! it was her trust in him alone that pushed her to go so far to prove to him her feelings were real, despite her doing all of this for some grand scale plan. i knew that today was a love test for both of them, her whether she would prove to him how much she loves him and him whether he could hold fast to that trust and not let any harm come to her.

@Bold, isn't that just the truth! The proof of what you said is in those episodes where they both talk their hearts out in a drunken stupor. She asks him something regarding himself & he says...how should I know, you're the one who keeps track of all these things. He knows that she is the only one that has been able to reach him in places he didn't even know existed. Oh, both these characters are a delight to watch, hope the cvs unravel the layers with love & without too much outer interference😆

Ahh that's one of my FAV epis...lol and one of the most TELLING dialogues from RK imo...the bit where he says how should I know...YOU'RE the one who knows everything about me...he's a lost soul and it's like Madhu is the only lighthouse he knows of to guide him ashore...

I absolutely agree that the layers b/w these characters are so much fun to watch as they are unraveled gradually...and I also hope the writers keep true to the soul of the characters rather than FORCING in so called "golden hearted" characters🥱

This is a story about these two MAD ppl...if anyone has any illusions of SANITY from either of them, they need only watch today's epi...lol...and if either of them was packed off to a "sane" person, it would be a total waste of a storyline.
